We stayed here after a long day with our 4 year old daughter.
Arrived at 11:30 in the evening, when we check in our reservation was wrong!!. Not the end of the world, but what was shocking was the attitude from Severeign (I hope I wrote it right).
As soon as we arrived we were greeted by another member of staff (which was great in the way he handled the situation) but as I questioned why it was only 1 guest in the booking, rather than 2 adults and 1 kid, he passed it onto Severeign.
Since he started dealing with us, evythong was a problem with him and instead of listening what I was saying, he carry on insisting on what he was saying.
My query was, if the extra bedding for my daughter was ready, as it was unlikely with the number of guest 1. He got enduros tee, raised his voice to me and start shuffling his arms and showing me the confirmations, where it was showing 1 guest.
He then dismissed me and send me upstairs to check the room and if anything was wrong let him know,
Of course was wrong, no extra bedding available, no extra towels available, which I had to go down to reception AGAIN to ask for something I've already asked 20 minutes before.
I found the whole situation appalling and the level of customer service given by this member of staff was non existent.
As I complained through you I will be doing the same on every single site, to make people aware of the king of staff they can expect when visiting your Oxford Branch.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Andy666 Decent hotel for an overnight stopover
Reasonable hotel, which happened to be in a good location to break our trip north overnight.
There isn't a restaurant on-site, but meals can be bought at the complex located around 5 minutes walk away.
The pillows, which were labelled as being either soft or hard, were in reality all pretty hard and the mattress thin and uncomfortable. This was the only real down point, but it is a significant one. I have stayed at several HI Express and in general find the beds to be of better quality than this one.
Selecting breakfast was a little chaotic. The hotel appeared to be fairly full, meaning that the small buffet area was crowded and difficult to navigate.
All-in-all, not the worst hotel that I have stayed in by any means, but far from the best either.
