Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great service - poor value - Due to 3rd floor being closed for renovation, we were offered the a jacuzzi suite as the only room available for our stay. The charge for the room was excessive for a room that was in need of drywall repair, no couch and generally poor quality. The desk clerk was congenial and it was understood that her hands were tied due to the lack of rooms available. We have stayed at this particular facility several times coming back from Florida and the room charge was always reasonable. The only time we did not use this hotel was immediately after the tornado and cable TV was knocked out for that evening. We traveled north on I75 to the next HI Express. First time we have been unhappy with one of our many HI Express experiences. 15 November 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel being remodeled The Manager told us that the hotel was being remodeled & that the beds in our room were only 4 days old. The walls still needed to be repainted though, and especially the bathroom. Seems to me you would want to paint before you put new furniture in the room. The staff was very friendly, & the breakfast area & the lobby looked great. Hopefully when the remodeling is completed, the rest of the rooms will look as good. 12 November 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Staff service I was very disappointed in the way my daughter was treated by the front desk clerk, Carol. I had made a reservation for 3 rooms and the rooms were being held with my credit card. I was driving in from Florida and my daughter, her husband and 3 children were meeting us there and one of the rooms was theirs however I was paying for the room. My daughter was arriving 3 hours before me and I called the hotel to ask if they could go ahead and check in and I would pay for the room when I arrived. Since they had my card number I was told this would not be a problem. When they arrived they were not allowed to check in dispite me calling the hotel and giving my authorization again to run my card eventhough I was told ealirer in the day it would not be a problem. They had 3 children ages 5 yrs to 14 yrs and were also denied the use of the swimming pool until I arrived. If I had time to deal with it when I arrived we would have left and stayed somewhere else but i will not use this hotel again in the future. 27 October 2014
