Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Equipe despreparada e desprezo pelo cliente

I am so glad that we chose to stay at Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort Thalasso Spa. The bungalow was very spacious and offered us a gorgeous view of Mt. Otemanu. I'm a Platinum Ambassador member and asked about an upgrade during check-in (we had Sapphire). The receptionist told us we didn't qualify because we didn't book directly with the hotel, but that she would ask anyway. She came back and said they approved our upgrade request and upgraded us to Diamond. While we did have a good view of Mt. Otemanu, the bungalow was not a Diamond Suite as she had told us. I'm wondering if she just said we were upgraded to appease us and hoping we would not notice. Oh well, it's all good since we still had a good view of the mountain.
The hotel amenities is one of the selling points for this hotel. They had free wifi and daily water bottles for the guests. They also provided "Daily News" which kept us informed of the main news items from home.
Every staff we encountered, concierge, wait staff, pool staff - were all very friendly. The locals are so warm and welcoming!
The hotel had a special activity everyday at noon and the daily stingray feeding at 2pm. The "pool boys" hosted these events and they were very entertaining.
We had the half board (breakfast/dinner included) with our package and it was one of the best decisions we had made since food prices are costly. Breakfast options were plentiful and I loved the Polynesian dishes they served. There were ample dinner choices and the ones we selected were delicious. We both loved the vegetable risotto. I could eat just this for my main dish!
I just loved everything about this resort and everything about our stay. I already miss the place and the people so much and can't wait to go back. We will definitely try to come back and stay again at the Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort Thalasso Spa.

My wife and I chose the Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort and Thelasso Spa for a one night stay away from our cruise ship. Our over-water bungalow was just perfect. We had a nice view of the lagoon and mountain. A one night stay is hardly enough time to experience all this resort has to offer.

We came here for our honeymoon and could not have been happier with the beautiful, comfortable, clean overwater villa. No matter where we were in the resort, the view was beautiful. The grounds are well-maintained and the staff are very friendly. We were a bit emotional when we had to leave.

The location, the over water villa, the views, etc. Are all exceptional. The hotel is somewhat let down by the food situation. No-one really likes to " hang about" for ages for what is basically, simple food. It's a problem you need to solve. My partner, used to manage an industrial kitchen- 700 meals, three times a day. She spotted difficulties as soon as we walked into the Reef restaurant.
At these prices, you have to get things right.
