AN ECO-FRIENDLY RESORT IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC
Perfectly placed, this Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa is set between the ‘two hearts’ of Motu Piti Aau, a coral island on the barrier reef. Whilst the award-winning Deep Ocean Spa is the centrepiece of this French Polynesian paradise, there are countless other activities to enjoy, including diving, canoeing or kayaking in crystal clear waters or working out in our glass-walled fitness centre.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful view We loved everything about the Bora Bora experience except for the food. Breakfast was included and good. Lunch was a little above average. Dinner was as best average. The price for the food was extreme. If priced more reasonably we probably would have spent more money on food. As it was we ate a late breakfast and late lunch. Stefan at breakfast was wonderful. He always greeted us with a smile. Everyone else said "la orana" to us with a smile but there was not much feeling or warmth in the greeting. We had just arrived after 10 days on the Paul Gauguin. Their crew was fantastic!! Very warm, funny and friendly. The room was wonderful but I think it was over-priced also. We are glad we did our "bucket" list but would probably never come back due to the expense. We travel quite a bit and are familiar with high-end resort prices, and can afford them easily, but this was too extreme. 22 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic hotel! This hotel is amazing. The rooms in particular are beautiful and almost the entire ocean facing side of building opens to the water. The view was spectacular and the service was very good. 18 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overall amazing resort. When we arrived at the Thalasso, we got a tour of the resort before we checked in, which was great help since it was a big resort. The service and staff at the Thalasso were top notch, super professional and very friendly. Our Diamond Villa was spacious, extremely roomy, everything was nice and new, we received bottled water every day, and the gifts they gave us were so cute! The breakfast buffet had a variety of foods and had great selection. Our dinners were included and it was excellent! We ate at the Reef Restaurant and enjoyed everything we had. The show on Monday night was very entertaining, we loved it! The Sands Restaurant was more laid back, which I loved, and the food was just as good as the Reef. Having a three course meal each night was very filling, we almost couldn't order dessert on some nights! The Thalasso has so much to offer and we had so much to do. We got to enjoy the views from the beach, we fed the sting rays, and the activities with the pool boys were so cool! We made crowns and a tote bag out of leaves. They were so helpful and made it enjoyable, even though most of us didn't know what the heck we were doing. My husband really wanted a hat, but we were leaving the day it was an activity, so they made him one! We still have it and it reminds us of how amazing the people were that we met in Bora Bora. One of the things I loved most at the Thalasso, was the turn down service. When we were at dinner, housekeeping would come close our curtains and get the bed ready, but they would put a water bottle and a piece of chocolate beside the bed.. it was such a small gesture, but I will always remember it. It shows that every little detail was thought through to make the experience at the Thalasso unforgettable. 15 December 2014
