Love having full size refrigerator along with the cook top & microwave. Free washers & dryers are another big plus. More TV channels and front entrance doors that open automatically plus mattress that is beginning to feel it's age are the only things that could be improved. Great staff that is very helpful. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Surprise Early Arrival Upon arriving in ABQ I learned that my lunch/early afternoon meeting had to be rescheduled. This left me with unexpected time and work to do before a dinner meeting. Monica at the front desk was gracious and arranged a room within 30 minutes so could have internet access and focus on the tasks at hand without the distractions and discomfort of sitting in a coffee shop. The "shadow" on the stay was the lack of room key access to the facility through doors at the perimeter of the hotel. Notices were posted indicating "maintenance was required". The necessary work was not accomplished during my 3-day stay. When questioned about this inconvenient situation (the load factor was high and required many guests to park a considerable distance from the main entrance), the front desk lack answers as to why "the fix" was performed or when a repair person might be expected. The Wi-Fi internet connectivity remains problematic. An unsuspecting guest who needs the web to work, will find this extremely difficult, if not impossible, on the 3rd floor. The issue is well known but there does not appear to be any effort to correct the problem. November 19, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor stay, loud room, no Wi-Fi When you check-in as a PLATINUM member with over 110000 points this year with a reservation and are put on the first floor across the hall from the work out room something is wrong. After I advised the young lady that was checking me in that it would not work. I was advised that they had no other rooms. That is ok with me so I ask for another IHG member hotel in the area and cancel my stay. I was told "RELAX AND LET ME LOOK" (shocked at the remark, YES) I was then given a room that happened to show up at the last min. It was located on the 6th floor. The room was noisy! the WI-FI did not get to the room because of the corner location. When I ask the front desk if they could fix the problem (I'm on Business and need Wi-Fi) I was told no. A day later because of the loud traffic noise I left the location. You might also like to stay away from the breakfast. The service area was DIRTY and unkept! Good Luck if you stay! October 22, 2013

Weren't out of the room 3 minutes and they were already working in the room. Overall great staff, great location, great experience. Good exercise and pool facilities. Solid breakfast, not just donuts and pastries. Only negative is pillows were small but had plenty of them October 14, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome staff! we loved staying at this hotel for the soccer tournment this last weekend. we had to travel all the way from colorado and i would call the hotel and ask questions and they never gave me any negative service! they were helpful in all aspects of the our stay, from early checkins, to cookouts out back, all of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. the only ones i really remember were Burt and Brandon from the front desk, also Andrea(?) from our checkin was super sweet and very accomadating. Shall we ever be in the area again we will definitly stay there once again. Thank you all for your great hospitality, from one who also works in the hospitality industry we greatly appreciate you making us feel at home! August 29, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff very friendly - rooms very nice - great breakfast We really enjoyed our time and were there for a week. The front desk people were always very helpful. The breakfast buffet was great with a lot of choices. Having a kitchen in the room helped us save on meals while we were there. The rooms were spacious but, there is almost too much furniture in them - they could lose a chair and table or two to open things up a bit. The room service/cleaners were very good/very thorough but - the one issue we had with them was towels. Every day they left us only two or three towels and we had four people. Towels was also an issue at the pool where it seemed like we always needed to remind them to bring in more towels. But - I can live with the towel issue as the price and rest of the service and amenities were worth it. Would stay there again. A couple of side notes - it's a bit further outside of town than other hotels if you're there for a function in downtown Albuquerque so you'll need a car. However, the drive isn't too bad and there are a lot of places to eat between downtown and the hotel. Also, there is shopping close by for groceries. In addition, it's just one exit away from the gondola trip up to Sandia Peak which is nice. We were there for a large function and a number of people who were at the same function came to our place and liked it more than their own hotels. August 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great family trip All the staff was super friendly, the breakfast was delicious. The room (1 bdrm suite) was perfect for our family of 5. We could put the little ones to bed in the bedroom and watch TV in the other room late. The kitchen was a perfect size, had more than what we needed which was nice. The pool was very cloudy, but there was no odor and the kids had fun. The hot tub was WAY too hot, but we told the desk and they lowered the temp so it was better later. There was a LOT of road construction in the area so it was a little hard to get in and out. August 10, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A bunch of small issues I wanted to like this hotel. I stay at Staybridge Suites all over the Western US. It's my "go to" hotel. This stay fell a bit short. When I checked in there was no acknowledgement of my member status. I had to ask if my Rewards Club was showing. The young man said, :Oh, yeah, there it is." As a Gold Member I usually get a little snack bag or a bottle of water. There was nothing offered. Then, the young man told me my room number out loud. This may not be a big deal to some, but as a woman who frequently travels alone for work, this was disconcerting. I haven't had someone check me into a hotel and say my room number out loud in years. The room was fine, the bed comfortable. The breakfast, however, which is usually one of the best things about these hotels, was pretty poor. One morning there was cold thinly sliced ham lunchmeat with the eggs. Two mornings there were only styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. Really? No one could do dishes? So, overall it wasn't a horrible or even bad stay. I guess just disappointing since I typically get much better service at other Staybridge Suites. I don't know that I would stay here again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Insects galore We had requested a room away from the elevator. We were placed three rooms away. We asked for a change of room to be told that there were no available rooms. It was only when I announced that I would call corporate that a room was "suddenly" found. In the new room, we found an enormous black bug floating in the toilet. When we went to bed, my daughter had a spider in the bed. Not to be outdone, we had a crushed something on the inside of the bedcover. Never again! I wrote to customer service to complain. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room but challenging internet Once you weave through the construction, you find a well cared for property with a comfortable, home-style room. Breakfast was well done and food plentiful. Keeping the coffee pot full was a bit spotty however. The challenging part of the stay was maintaining a stable internet connection. Late evening computer-based conference calls failed so many times, the process had to be abandon. Sitting at the dest while making those calls also had its challenges. Even though I am of average height, the chair did not have sufficient upward adjustment to achieve a comfortable working position. Fortunately, the throw pillows from the couch provided sufficient boost. August 3, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best Location for a Hotel; Close to everything The room was large, great number of electrical outlets for all of our electrical needs (computers, cell phone chargers, etc.). The kitchen was awesome - turn on your ice maker when you arrive. Calvin at the front desk, and all the others, were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and when we asked for more towels, more whatever, they came right away. (we take two showers each per day and use a lot of towels - stayed a week). AC works great, black out shades too. Even though they have breakfast and it looked great, I sleep in and eat around noon and we had specific restaurants on our to do list. However, we found that during the week, they have a delicious light dinner outside at the grille/kitchen area. Menu changes daily - good food. Room was quiet from all of the construction going on all around the hotel when you closed your windows. If we visit ABQ in the future, we will stay there again, hands down. We are picky! But the last visit was outstanding. My husband had been released from the hospital after having surgery. Because we live 200 miles from Albuquerque, we decided to stay a couple of nights so he could gain strength before making the long road trip. The hotel had a wheel chair waiting for us when we arrived. The staff were very helpful in getting us moved into our room. I love that the bedroom can be closed from the living area. My husband was able to rest without being bothered. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants TLC treatment! July 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Incredible hospitality staff and customer service When I returned from breakfast, our room had already been cleaned. Shortly afterwards I realized the money envelope I had thrown away the night before had money in it, so I tracked down our cleaning ladies down the hall and explained the situation to them. Without missing a beat, Anhel disassembled the cart, removed the large trash bag and proceeded to sift through the trash until the envelope and money were found. She and Maria were just as excited to find the money as I was! All of the staff at this location were very helpful and friendly and I look forward to a return trip to Albuquerque. Good view of the mountains if you request an even numbered room. Nice pool and hot tub. Yummy breakfast buffet of sausage, eggs, fruit, cereal, waffles, bagels and muffins. Nice business center with a couple of computers. The only downside of our trip was the road construction going on behind the hotel, but that's temporary and not in their control anyway. It wasn't noisy, just a bit inconvenient to get to. July 8, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad customer service from staff and manager The room was way overpriced! The elevator broke and my son is on crutches, we were on the third floor. We were told to take the stairs b/c there was no other elevator, this was Sat. night. While going up the stairs he hurt his bad ankle. I immedialy called the front desk when we got to our room and Scott's response was "I didn't ask for the elevator to break" I asked to speak with the manager but she wasn't in until Monday. I called Pamela Monday, and she apologized but then said I'll have to talk to my staff to see what went on this weekend and then she'll call me back. She made it seem as if I was lying! Needless to say more, she never called me back. On top of that the maids walked in without knocking and we ran out of ameneties. Just a bad experience. May 3, 2013
