My hubby ,son (6 yr old) and I stayed here for 4 days. The stay was wonderful. The staff was nice and room was clean. The breakfast was great also !! The lobby was very cozy and inviting. It has alot of other young family with kids staying there also. It is close to all the major attractions that Chattanooga has to offer. Kitchenette was added bonus for us. Parking was free:)

I have had a better stay at this hotel in the past. The carpet needed cleaning and it stink. The room was not what I expected.
The hotel staff was outstanding.
I do look forward to a better stay the next time.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AmyHatesNoise Very Clean, Maintained Room....but One Noisy Fridge.
Everything was great with the condition of the room, and generally good with my 2-night weekend stay. The only problem was the refrigerator ice maker after I turned it on once I got in the room. I checked in, left for the evening, came back to the room, then went to bed. That's when I woke up about 6 or more times in the night by the very audible tapping/knocking sounds the ice-maker made, even after I got up to turn it off. As I am a light sleeper, this was thoroughly annoying. I made the front desk clerk aware of the problem the next morning, but there was little to nothing he was able to do about the fridge as he was at the mercy of the single maintenance person kept on staff for the weekends. By the next night, the noise had fortunately stopped, so I didn't need to switch rooms.

Food-excellent breakfast and perfectly selected managers socialfood inevening.
Rooms are especially quiet with heat/AC that cycle so softly they do not disturb your sleep. Mattresses are comfortably firm.
Housekeeping staff make beds and offer fresh towels each morning and even run thr dishwasher for you.
And, unlike most hotels these days, the downtown convention center Staybridge provides complimentary copies of the daily Chattanooga Times Free Press newspaper, one of the remaining excellent newspapers in the US--yeah! I enjoy reading a real newspaper while lodging away from home.
The hotel has been recently rnovated--indeed a very good value these days.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by KLV123 Great service!
We really enjoyed the female desk clerk that checked us in! From the minute we checked in she took care of us by asking where we were going & offering information about the best way to get there. She was great - every hotel needs her! Breakfast selections were great, but the breakfast area got congested on some days. Would've given a 5 on cleanliness, but the breakfast area was not very clean the last day.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by likedthehotel great breakfast
The hotel was nice and the breakfast was the best free breakfast we've had at a hotel, ever. The bag of popcorn waiting in our room was really nice.
We did laugh, however, at the elevator sign explaining the "renovations" that had been done. "Renovations" was in quotation marks like this, which led us to ask, was it really renovated? Why the quotes?
