    The pool room was a crisp 65 degrees! It was so cold for the kids to swim. After just a short time swimming (which was one of the most important reasons for choosing this hotel) the kids wanted to curl up under blankets in our room where we could at least adjust the temperature. The next morning, the pool wasn't open at all so the kids couldn't even attempt a swim. Very dissatisfied. I have stayed here 6 plus times and I will look around next time before booking.

    I am sorry that you had a bad experience with our pool area. As soon as we were aware that heater in the room was not functioning, it was too late to get it repaired. We had to have the pool shut down on Sunday morning to make the proper repairs. We currently have a new thermostat and everything is running properly. Again, I apologize that you and your family had a poor sixth experience with us. I hope that you will consider us again the next time you are in the area, knowing we do our best to keep the hotel maintained. Kent Palmer General Manager

    A very nice evening

    We purchased the Corning museum package, and the stay/visit was wonderful. The room was very large, comfortable, pool/hot tub were great, plenty to keep us busy on a cold winter's night. The hotel was well kept, staff was great, stay was quiet and comfortable. I loved that there was a TV in each bedroom, plus one with a DVD player in the common room. All the comforts of home!
