    I always my stay here when on business in this area. Staff is great and willing to answer any questions. The rooms are very nice with plenty of room for an extended stay. My wife often travels with me and tells me about how friendly the staff is. Hotel has just been remodeled and looks great. Breakfast is pretty good but the quality of the sausage gravy tends to vary a lot from day to day. The quality of meals on Social nights tend vary a lot. I really enjoy the soup and sandwich night, snack night not too much. I wish they would do soup and sandwich night more often and just change the type of soups

    Unmatched Customer Service

    It's not too often I have the pleasure of singing the praises of exemplary customer service at one of the IHG locations. I don't always have a lot of time to write reviews either, but this location has earned my highest regards.

    This hotel has Tom to thank for taking my experience from an 8 or 9 to a 10 for customer satisfaction. This gentleman was passionate for the comfort of the guests, and went above and beyond the call of duty to show that my simple request was taken VERY seriously.

    My family & I stayed a total of 4 nights here. We discovered we were lacking toothpaste so I inquired of the front desk. The girl on duty said they were out both under the counter and their little store off the lobby. I asked if their sister location (HIE) across the parking lot might have some. She thought they might, but didn't offer to check. No big deal. I ended up purchasing some at a nearby Walgreens.

    The next night I chatted with Tom on the way out to get some dinner, who asked me if all was ok with our stay. I said it was fine, but that he should see if they could get some more tooth past in stock. He thanked me, and said he could get some for me. I said no worries, as we purchased some already.

    Much to my surprise, while we were out to dinner, Tom went over to the HIE and obtained some boxes of toothpaste, waited for our return, and personally gave me a box apologizing for not having it on hand when we needed it.

    Unbelievable....

    If the whole staff of this hotel took on Tom's attitude and passion, this location would be legendary. The next time I am in the St. Louis area, I will go out of my way to stay here again.

    Props also goes out to Peg (I think that was her name) who took the time to give us a call on check out day to make sure we were happy with our stay, and if there was anything she could do before we departed. A nice touch to show we were valued, and appreciated.

    I wish I would encounter more of these type of stays in my travels, but I would point to this hotel as a model of how you take care of the customer.
