Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JimConnie23 Quiet, Clean and Lighting Less than Expected
I stayed for 9 nights and was awakened in the middle of the night by noisy guests in adjacent rooms twice. Housekeeping services were not provided at least four different days. The bathroom lighting is so poor, I had to shave by a open window. TV had no guide and the picture settings reverted to a less desirable picture every time turned off. A friend of ours stayed in the lodging property next door with a comparable cost of 60%.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by munchkin2012 Nice place
We were traveling with 4 generations of women ranging in age from 80 to 19 months, and me. This hotel was acceptable to all of women. (Unbelievable, I know...)
Having to travel for work, I stay in quite a few different hotels, and I was impressed by this hotel. The four things I liked most about the hotel were: the layout of the 2 Bdr. suite, complementary breakfast and a dinner "social hour" (Tues-Thurs), and the pool barbecue area, and the DVD players on each of the 3 TVs in the suite.
Two things I would change would be: the pull-out couch was not very comfortable to sit on and the trash can in the kitchen could ave been bigger..
Overall, I would give this hotel a 4.75 out of 5. Will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed there twice for two weeks each in the past two months, this was my first time at a Staybridge Suites. Thank you Heather and the rest of the staff for making our stay great. I will look to stay at a Staybridge Suites in the future. It really was a home away for home.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RackingUpMiles Gr8 Location - Gr8 Staff - Gr8 for Extended Stays - Upgrade TVs Plz
Have stayed at this location for 30+ day stays multiple times per year over multiple years. Kelli, Shane and staff are outstanding. Only 15 minutes from downtown but far enough away. Location is quiet and safe. Groceries, dry cleaners, banks/ATMs, etc. all very convenient. Gr8 Chinese restaurant (Cai E's) very close. All staff personable and professional. Housekeeping never misses a beat. Rare maintenance issues resolved promptly and completely. Ethernet historically strong with minimal interruptions. Only ongoing issue is quality of flat screens and channel offerings. Like too many Staybridge Suites, they have yet to upgrade from original 32" screens and need to upgrade to HD channels. That standard is at least 5 years old. Today, a 37"+ flat screen and resonable HD channel offering is the baseline. As an extended stay hotel, Staybridge needs to move to 42" with robust HD channel offering to support brand image / expectations.

Don't stay here.
The hotel has great staff, nice rooms, and pool for the kids, gym equipment and laundry.
If you stay here, there won't be room for us, and we really want to be able to stay here more often. Make your reservations early because it fills up.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Native Nevadans Decent, but Noisy
The walls seem really thin, can hear all the noises. It was exceptionally noisy when we were there with families with kids who would run up and down halls and in their rooms.
Also the pull-out bed is TERRIBLE!!! I'd suggested upgrading to a better sofa-sleeper.
Otherwise, it was very clean and we like the location.

This hotel is a secret gem of a hotel in Reno. It is far enough away from the crazy part of Reno so you can sleep well at night but if so inclined, you can drive back to the center of the city in just a very short period (5-10 minutes).
The staff of the hotel were easy to deal with and acted very professional. Our group of people encountered no issues at all.
Breakfast was free (as usual) and was better than most of the extended stay types of hotels. The coffee was fresh and the hot meat was also fresh. Too often in other hotel brands, the "free" breakfast is some to skip but in this Staybridge, it was actually good.
Did not use the pool or the exercise area but the area seemed clean and well maintained.
Would highly recommend the hotel to others.

Our family had a good time all along during the stay. Though little far from the city but surrounded with a daily needs store and gas closed by. Breakfast was good and staff were professionally behaved. Only issue for the noise if staying in lower floor.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MalPal Great Holiday Stay
I stayed over Thanksgiving Break, with the exception of a minor issue at check in (which was resolved) my stay was incredible. Breakfast was always hot, fresh, and ready. The staff was nice when they were at the front desk. The Manager was very helpful. The hotel is at a great location to really experience Reno, the way you should.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MGS48 Thanksgiving in Reno
Reno was our central meeting spot for Thanksgiving. Our room was very comfortable; the kitchenette was great for serving our Turkey dinner that we carried with us; the breakfasts were delicious with nice selections; the evening snack sounded great though we never had occasion to partake (even had beer on tap!!!); the master bed was very comfortable; the sleeper left something to be desired for an adult [we brought along an air mattress just in case :)]; the staff was very helpful and cheery; the cookies were delicious; parking was excellent; & the location was great (not a casino).
All in all, the accommodations were great.
We would return.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RenoMy2ndhome Nice place
This was our first time staying in a place like this. It was quite enjoyable. Beautifully furnished, very clean and a great shower. LOVED that it was a non-smoking hotel.
Liked that the pool was indoors, swimming in the winter... Awesome!!! Staff that I interacted with were very friendly. The days we were there breakfast seemed to rotate between eggs and bacon and cheese omelette and sausage. Also had fruit salad, cottage cheese and an assortment of pastries and bread.
It's two minutes from the Walmart and Kohl's.
Only two things we wished for, A little bit bigger sink in the kitchen area, I prefer to hand wash dishes, and a guide of some sort that lists the channels that are available.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by richard412 Another great stay
Usually, we reserve a 1-bedroom suite at this and other Suite hotels. And although there was a serious problem here with the quality of the mattress on the sofa-bed, the staff worked with us to make our stay very nice. We ended up with two studios for the cost of one 2-bedroom unit. We did move to a 2-bed unit at first, but all of these are on the freeway side of the hotel, so we asked to have a different accommodation and they did their best. We will stay here again, but only if they replace the mattresses on the sofa-beds!

We normally stay at the peppermill, but we needed two rooms with a bedroom in each. Staybridge was able to accomodate my family with exactly what we needed at a really good rate. The rooms were big enough for my wife and me and our three children. The buffet breakfast on the weekend was great, saved time and money and was very good. The staff was over the top helpful. The pool/spa was very nice, when we used it, it was warm and clean. The gym was also a surprise....i work out every day and when I go to the fitness rooms at most hotels I don't even bother, i'll just do some push-ups/sit-ups in room and go for a jog. At Staybridge i was able to get in a great work out and use their cardio equipment as well, nice suprise. It was a good experience over all. We were there for my Nieces gymnastics competition and the facility was only two miles away, very convienent. Over all an excellent experience, we'll be back.

Good location out south of airport off 395/80. We drove down, had our car, so the 20 minute drive to downtown Reno wasn't a problem.
Room was quiet and clean. Only problem was daily touch up service not offered on weekend unless you ask as soon as you arrive. So no problem! Housekeeper very sweet and brought clean towels and more coffee. I even got extra towels brought up by front desk, I just asked for more towels before returning to my room. Great little breakfast and little eating area in lobby. Grocery store and Starbucks also close by!

I thought the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with finding a restaurant for dinner. At breakfast the next morning the ladies serving were also very sweet and friendly. Very clean, comfy rooms and the popcorn was a nice touch. Definitely the best place in Reno if you want to stay and not smell cigarette smoke!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Eightleggedmom Cleanest Hotel EVER!!!!
I am not a traveler by nature. However, I needed to travel to Reno for my daughters softball team. I was unable to stay at the hotel with the team, no rooms, so we booked here. I was so happy with the room and my stay. It was so clean, the room was spacious, it had a kitchenette and even had a tiny diswasher. There was an indoor pool area and it was amazingly clean. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Allan1234 Great for long term or short term
I stayed at this hotel for over two months. Everything was as good as could be expected, or more. Free breakfast 7 days a week included a slightly different menu each day. Some days there were scrambled eggs, other days there were Denver and cheese omelets. Sometimes bacon, sometimes sausage. Always: Fresh fruit, cold and hot cereal, muffins, bagels, pastries, hard boiled eggs, juices, and yes, waffles. Two days a week they had strawberry toppings for the waffles. The waffles were not the same brand of batter as at most of the other hotels. This different brand actually tasted good. I liked that I could live there for two months and not get tired of the breakfast because it changed all the time. Free dinner Tues-Thursday. Included is free soda and beer! I never got food poisoning and I have a delicate stomach. Here is a little secret: The hotel has at least 4 storage closets that I know of. They are located near the elevator. They are free of charge, and available upon request, if available. You have to ask for it. It's a nice place to put larger things that you don't want cluttering up your room. I even put my laptop in there as a sort of "safe" when I was gone. Very friendly people, and the place is clean. This is in a better, newer part of town. I felt that my vehicle was safe. Trust me, you do not want to stay downtown near the strip. They always had more than enough parking available, including for vehicles with trailers. I would return.

This hotel was a wonderful find for us on the first night of our "trip out west". After 7 hours on a plane, the comfortable beds and the spotless efficiency suite were exact what we needed. The breakfast on Sunday morning was well above our expectations, too. We will definitely plan to stay here on our next trip.

I was just looking for a place to spend some one on one time with my seven year old grandson. This was the perfect place. We spent a lot of time at the pool. It was very clean and we mostly had it to ourselves. The staff was very pleasant. They even let us have a late checkout so we could swim longer. The one bedroom unit was very clean. We made a few side trips, including one to Chuck E Cheese!. I am going to come back with the four year old next.

The hotel is located within a large business complex and is a little difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area. (But is still very close to the freeway and only minutes to downtown Reno) The grounds were clean, well kept and professional looking. The staff was courteous, professional and helpful, although room service staff came way too early in the morning for my liking. The room was outstanding! We got a two bedroom suite (because I snore) and both bedrooms, as well as the main living area/kitchen, were clean, well/modernly decorated and roomy. Even the showers were huge, with very high shower heads and great water pressure. We were never bothered by any noise from adjoining rooms or the freeway. The beds were exceedingly comfortable. The kitchen area was well stocked with coffee supplies, glasses, cups, dishes and silverware. The price was a little more than I would have paid for a nice casino room, but was well worth it!
