Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best spot near River Street in GA! You will not be dissappointed with this place! Its located a street away from River Street where all the attaction and attractions are. I had know idea how good I had done when I chose this Hotel, until we arrived. The young lady at the front desk was more then helpful. I was so grateful when she actually stayed on the phone with me until I found my way to the hotel. (I tend to get lost easily, LOL). I wish we could remember her name now because her boss should know how wonderful she does her job and does it with a smile. Very pleasant and friendly. The hotel is so cute and the lobby was just beautiful with the Christmas tree and fireplace. The free breakfast was better then any I have seen. Great variety. The room was like a one bedroom apartment and we had the perfect view in room 222. The bed was very comfortable, amenitites perfect and very clean. We will definately be staying there again!! Thank you for making our trip wonderful!! December 26, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by no breakfast There was almost no food when we arrived for breakfast at 9:00 AM. Other guests were also waiting for something to eat. When we asked for a fork to eat the eggs we had waited for some were brought out but the first three forks we chose had food on them! November 23, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel but no follow up to resolve an issue. We have stayed at this hotel in the past and will again in the future. It was a nice stay once again, however with one exception. I left a couple personal items in the room and called the hotel within 2 hours after checkout. They said they would check into and return my call. No follow up call from the hotel, so I called back that evening. No one had any information, I was told to call back in the am between 7-9. I called at 8 am and they were aware of the issue but would need to check again with housekeeping and will call me back. No response again, and it has been over a week. Just tell me whether you have my items or not. No response is unacceptable. This hotel does not seem to be responsive to phone calls. November 21, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice option We had never stayed at a Staybridge Suite before. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in Savannah. It is located so that we never moved the car in 4 days. Tours picked us up at the hotel. Very nice. November 17, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not as good as we have come to expect from Staybridge Although we extended our stay an additional night there were several things that were not up the standards we have come to expect from Staybridge stay. The wireless internet was either nonexistent (2 of the four days) or so slow it was difficult to even be on the internet in the room. The business center computer was barely better, although one day we were able to access and print things, it was useable only one out of the four days we were there. My husband and several other guests had upsetting encounters with one of the breakfast staff persons who was extremely rude and unpersonable. The last thing a guest wishes to encounter is a surly and or unhappy employee the first thing of the day. There were two housekeeping carts left in the hallway (same spot) for two of the four days were were there outside of someone's room. We can only hope that the room was unoccupied. One of the doors to the fitness room could not be opened by hotel key but there was no sign to alert you to use the other door. One elevator was so slow that I was tempted to take the stairs even though I have a physical disability that makes stair use difficult. Only halfway into our stay did we discover another elevator at the other end of the building which was somewhat faster.. In speaking with front desk staff re: the internet situation, two different staff members just shrugged their shoulders and said they hadn't heard others complaining about it. There was no offer to see why it wasn't working in the room or offer to comp parking or discount room cost or anything other than the shrug and comment that I was the first to complain. Several days later I heard others discussing that there was apparently a cut line in the district that affected the internet in the hotel. Whether that was so or not, I could say since I was not advised of this when I spoke to the desk personnel two days in a row re: this.. We were not ackowledged as priority club members nor given the "little goodie bag" with water etc which is a nice touch other properties do. (It appeared as though some guests did get a goodie bag as there were some bags on the back counter of the front desk that appeared to be of that nature, we did not receive one.). There were several saving graces to our stay. Agnes, one of the housekeeper assigned to our room, was extremely helpful and pleasand and Charlie the concierge was also very pleasant and helpful. He went out of his way to assist whether it was helping out when the breakfast staff appeared short handed getting plates/napkins etc or fulfilling requests for reservations without a working hotel phone or internet to make reservations by using his personal cell phone and apologizing for any inconvience this might be causing one as it was difficult to complete some of the requests when his computer was down I'm sure.. They both always had a smile on their faces and were ready to help anyway they could. They are definite assets to your organization. The laundry facilities were very good and there was no charge to use the machines which was an unexpected pleasant surprise. The manager receptions were a nice plus although the quality of both the breakfasts and reception items while more than adequate they were a little less appealing than food we have had in other Staybridge properties. Ie: no meat one breakfast day, no cranberry juice one morning, coffee not always replaced quickly when empty etc. Sandwich bar but no mayo or other condiments or lettuce, tomato slices etc for the sandwiches readily available. Although the price was fair and the location extremely convenient for us, it is unlikely we will stay at this property in the future.Even though the larger sized room is attractive there were just too many things that were a "click" or more away from satisfactory to make the stay truly enjoyable. My husband who has worked in the restaurant business felt that there was an overall lack of leadership from management in this property. The very next day we stayed in Asheville NC. This property was exceptional and it was so nice to have a happy server at breakfast who radiated joy in her job (similar to Charlie and Agnes) and mentioned when a comment was made that it was so nice to see someone cheerfully doing her job that she loves her job and has been doing it for more than 5 years and appreciates that the other staff and hotel managment work together, have fun at their positions and feel like a family. It made one wish to linger because of how upbeat she was. There were two elevator side by side and never a long wait for them, the hallways were clean and you only saw housekeeping carts while the staff was cleaning rooms. Although they don't have a "manager's reception", the breakfast items were as good as and even maybe better than what we had at the Staybridge. November 14, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great Location and Quality Service I stayed here during a 4-day business trip and was impressed with the quality of the room, the excellent location, and the reasonable price. They do get some big tour groups, but I never heard a sound in my room. The free breakfast is nice. If you come down for breakfast and a large group has just cleaned out the buffet, just wait a few minutes. It happened once to me but the staff had it restocked in no time - including the hot items like eggs and biscuits! Great service and friendly too! My only suggestion would be that they find a way to make the coffee cups more obvious. Maybe I was tired, but I looked all over for the cups before I realized they were actually underneath the coffee station. Maybe a sign next to the coffee that says CUPS with arrows pointing down? Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Savannah Hotel was very nice. Gym facility was amazing. Some of the front desk staff had a little attitide. Also, wifi password expires every Sunday, why is that not communicated? It caused issues with my work connection. Unnecessary issue if staff or documents indicate this change. Overall very nice however, I would return. Thank you. October 23, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very friendly staff My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Staybridge. The hotel was in the heart of the historic district, and we especially liked the cozy atmosphere of the lobby, with its old brick and wood floors. The rooms were a perfect offset to the quaint lobby, in that they were modern, very clean, and our room offered a nice view of the city street and wharf area. We would definitely recommend a stay at Staybridge Suites. October 23, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A very nice place indeed. Excellent staff. Really enjoyed our stay here. From the minute we got there to the time we left everyone there treated us well. When leaving we met one of the staff in the parking lot. He spoke and thanked us for staying in his hotel. The only gripe and a little one is that the shower head was mounted for a very short person as were the mirrors. Other than that the room was very nice and well equipped. Great location. It is near so much, walk out the door into early American history. A chipping iron from the river walk and its shops and sights. And for hopheads a short walk to the Moon River Brewery and its fine beers. Try the Swamp Fox and Captains Porter. You will be glad you did. October 18, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant Experience Excellent Hotel, great location, very friendly helpful staff, super Lobby, great cooked breakfast and managers reception. Just an overall great place to stay and we highly recommend it for anyone visiting the beautiful city of Savannah. October 18, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great location Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The rooms need updating....fixtures, appliances and furnishings show significant signs of age. The lack of a "view" from our window was disappointing. Parking leaves a lot to be desired. The staff was great, very helpful. The lobby is welcoming and the concierge is a nice touch. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TM Had a great stay at Staybridge Suites! The motel was in a great location - within walking distance to Riverstreet and lots more. The room was great, complete with a mini-kitchen! The breakfast each morning was terrific. Checking in and out was painless. I would definitely stay here again! October 15, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Stay Our weekend stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasent and accomodating. The location was pefect to allow for locations to be within walking distance. The only down side was: please do something about the complimentary breakfast. It left alot to be desired. This should not be a detracting factor for the fine southern hospitality we found during our stay. October 14, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great room with comfortable bed We were planning a trip to Savannah for my 60th birthday on St. Patrick's Day. The hotel is located on the parade route. The party lasted 3 days. Security at the hotel was great. We would definitely stay here again. October 6, 2012
