This September, IHG Hotels & Resorts will donate $1 to OzHarvest for every night stayed at participating hotels and resorts, helping provide meals to people in need across Australia.

Every dollar helps provide two meals, rescues quality food from going to waste and reduces carbon emissions. Thanks to the support of our guests and hotels, together with OzHarvest we've now helped deliver more than 1 million meals to people in need since our partnership began.

Our Partnership with OzHarvest

In 2018, IHG Hotels & Resorts launched its nationwide collaboration with OzHarvest, Australia’s leading food rescue organisation. Over the past eight years, our partnership has supported food rescue, community impact and hospitality pathways across Australia. Together, we have helped deliver over 1 million meals to people in need.

We work with OzHarvest to help ensure good food from our hotels and resorts does not go to waste. Wherever possible, quality excess food is collected from participating properties and delivered to charities that provide meals to people who need them most.

Supporting the Nourish Program

OzHarvest’s Nourish Program gives at-risk young people facing barriers to education, training or employment the skills, qualifications and confidence to pursue a career in hospitality. As the program celebrates 10 years, IHG is proud to continue supporting pathways that can open doors to brighter futures.
