There’s also an outdoor garden for those who prefer to enjoy the fresh air. Plymouth is Britain’s Ocean City, steeped in maritime history. No trip to Plymouth is complete without a visit to the Hoe, where you will enjoy panoramic views of Plymouth Sound and the iconic Smeaton’s Tower lighthouse, and during summer months you can take a dip in the Art-Deco Tinside Lido.

Plymouth station has direct trains to London, Exeter, Birmingham, and Bristol. Exeter and Newquay airports are only a one-hour's drive away.
