Making the 20km trip to Xikou, a town famed locally for its rich Buddhist heritage. Surrounded by towering mountain landscapes, it is dotted with temples and old presidential residences. Visitors can swim in one of the aqua-blue waterfalls nearby.
Ningbo is a city surrounded by water, and is renowned for the freshest seafood. Take a short walk to restaurants on Tian Yi Square where you can pick your own fish from the tank, then watch as skilled chefs fillet and steam it in front of your eyes.
