Chester Zoo is the UK's number one charity zoo, with over 7000 animals and 400 different species including some of the most endangered species on the planet. Completed in 1310, Chirk is the last Welsh castle from the reign of Edward I still lived in today. The award-winning gardens contain clipped yews, herbaceous borders, shrub and rock gardens.
