The baroque Zwinger castle with the Semperoper attached is one of the highlights of the historic district of Dresden. To get there from the hotel it is just a walk through the Zwinger Garden within 5 minutes.

The city's landmark is the Frauenkirche, which was rebuilt and reopened in 2005. Concerts, tours to the top of the tower and a museum in the crypt are open to the public and a must-see in Dresden.
