Lake Murray State Park is Oklahoma's oldest and largest state park with over 12,000 acres located on the shores of beautiful Lake Murray.The park'sdiverse terrain,exceptional trails and historic sites make lake Murray State Park a favorite destination amond outdoor and water sports enthusiasts.

The Dornick Hills Golf and Country Club is the Premier Country Club in southern Oklahoma. This private club offers an 18 hole championship, par 70 golf course, the first designed by Perry Maxwell. The Pro Shop carries a wide variety of designer brands of apparel as well as golf equipment.

The Greater Southwest Historical Museum works to preserve the history of south central Oklahoma. Exhibits detail the area's history from the 1800's to the present. The museum tells the facinating story of human settlement in south central Oklahoma from early Native American history to the farmers, ranchers and townspeople who built strong communities in the region.

The Militay Memorial Museum is housed in one wing of the building that once served as a National Guard Armory for Oklahoma's historic, battle-proven 45th Division. Displays in the museum represent all eras from the Civil War to the Iraqi Freedom War.

The Lakeview Golf Course has an 18 hole championship layout offer challenges for the beginner, as well as the seasoned golfer. The addition of the new clubhouse facilities, practice putting greens, the Bentgrass greens and Bermuda fairways make this golf course one of the best in the area.

The collection of almost 300 rare and antique dolls include porcelain, bisque, leather, wood and wax dolls including carved wood French dolls that were owned by Marie Antoinette.

The Sante Fe Depot erected in 1916 is one of Ardmore's oldest and most revered buildings. Amtrak's Heartland Flyer makes a daily roundtrip of 418 miles between Oklahoma City and Fort Worth, Texas with a stop in Ardmore at the Sante Fe Deport.
