Putnam Museum & IMAX Theater

Quad Cities River Bandits at Modern Woodman Park

Modern Woodmen Park, which opened in 1931 as Davenport Municipal Stadium and was previously known as John O'Donnell Stadium, is the oldest stadium used continuously by a current Minor League Baseball team for more than 50 years. The current Midwest League franchise, Quad Cities River Bandits has played in it continuously since 1960. The park offers one of the most stunning views in all of professional sports: the Mighty Mississippi River flowing beneath the breathtaking Centennial Bridge.

Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse

Circa '21 is housed in the historic Fort Armstrong Theatre. Opened in 1921, the theatre was originally a vaudeville and silent movie house, among one of the most popular and unique of its day. After extensive remodeling, Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse opened in June of 1977 as the Quad Cities' professional theatre. In 1978, following the opening of Circa '21, the Fort Armstrong Theatre was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Mississippi Valley Fair

In the summer, the fairgrounds are host to six days and nights of action packed games, rides, concerts and other entertainment. The fair has grown from a small county fair of the 1900's into a grand regional event, attracting more than 300,000 people during fair week and over 600,000 people annually making it one of the largest fairs in Iowa.
