Visit Old Cemetery - the magnificent mausoleums, tombs and graves reflect the lives that were lived in the "Promised Land". Just a hop away is Izrael Poznanski Palace and Factory Complex - it's home was the largest residential structure among the great factory magnates in Poland. And don't miss Manufactura-the revitalised factory buildings, which now are an entertainment and cultural centre.

The Lodz Ghetto Survivors' Park, situated in Wojska Polskiego Street, was established. The grounds of the park are located close to the former ghetto boundaries. The idea of setting up the park was put forward by Halina Elczewska, one of the former Lodz Ghetto residents. On the 68th anniversary of the Lodz Ghetto liquidation 363 trees were planted by the Ghetto Survivors in the park.

Lodz, the largest film production centre in Poland, has always been well-known for its National Film, Television and Theatre School. The school, established in 1948, is one of the most famous higher education institutions and the only one of this kind in Poland.
