Miette Hot Springs is an ideal way to spend a cool summer evening. Relax in the spring water hot pool then take a cool swim in the cold pool to refresh oneself.

The mile long trail takes you to a look out that inhabits a beaver dam and the newly build All-Terraine bike trail. Summer Strolling around the Maxwell Lake area or Winter Skating on the outdoor lake is an adventure to seek while in the Hinton area.

An adventure for both seasons. Take a hike on the marked pathways or have a guided climb up the frozen falls in Winter. Both very adventurous and breathtaking.

Open in the winter months Marmot Basin has many different runs available for all new and experienced skiiers and snowboarders. Visit the weather network website to see how much new snow has accumulated during the season.

Past the community of Cadomin this windy road takes you up to the old history of the original mining that took place in this area. Summer flowers makes this a scenic trip for all in the summer month of July.

Boating in the Hinton area then this is the lake to go to. The lake offers both picnic area as well as an overnight campsite. Located inside Switzer Provincial Park area.

Switzer Provincail Park is home to many lakes around the Hinton area. It offers everything from canoeing to swimming in the summer and for the winter months skating on a frozen pond to cross country skiing.
