He suggested we visit Blue Spring to see the manatee, we took his advice and had a very special day. By delaying all check-ins until 3:00 on the nose, customers spent a lot of time waiting in line at the desk when they could have been checked in as they arrived. I was never greeted as an owner, which I have become accustomed to, possibly because staff was over-burdened by the press of customers. It made me angry and resentful, not a good start to my travel experience. This is poor service and unnecessary. My room was a specialty room, and I would have waited contentedly if I believed that it actually was not ready. Instead I believe that. I (and all the other waiting travelers) was being lied to, in the interest of keeping to a strict timetable set by management. January 20, 2016
