Limon Heritage Museum brings to life the exciting history of Colorado's Hub City. In the Museum Complex you enter a fascintating world captured through wonderful photos, unusual displays and stories of pioneers who fashioned a good life on the unforgiving plains. Accented by lovely gardens, the magnificent Prairie Odyssey sculpture, and historic raidroad, ranching and farming artifacts, the Heritage Museum provides a rare experience for all ages. Museum open Memorial Day - Labory Day.

Adventure is wating for each family member. The 1910 Limon Depot, restored and maintained by Heritage Society volunteers, is a community treasure recently placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Formerly a Union Depot servicing both Rock Island and Union Pacific railroads. it has become an anticipated stop for tourists and a much loved reminder of the past for the area. Depot houses Bob Coonts' "American West" poster display, Houtz Native American collection and railroad memoribilia.

Local fishing pond for children. Also has several varieties of water fowl and is a wonderful wetlands area.
