Trestles is a collection of surfing spots at San Onofre State Beach.Trestles consists of, from north to south, Upper Trestles, Lower Trestles, and Middle Trestles. North of Upper Trestles is the surf spot called Cottons. It is located at the mouth of San Mateo Creek, just south of the City of San Clemente's city limits, and north of Basilone Rd. Trestles gets its name from a series of railroad trestles that span the marsh and wetlands at the mouth of San Mateo creek.

Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is the major West Coast base of the United States Marine Corps and serves as its prime amphibious training base.It is located on the Southern California coast, in San Diego County, and bordered by Oceanside to the south, San Clemente to the north, and Fallbrook to the east.

Legoland California is a theme park located in Carlsbad, California, focused on Lego bricks. It opened on March 20, 1999. It is the third Legoland park to open, and is one of only two outside of Europe.
