The room was a queen suite so was larger than normal witch is nice.
When we entered the room and started to settle in we found that the clock was unplugged and the time on the microwave was wrong. Tried to open the fridge and found the door was blocked by the couch. That night we noticed a terrible foul smell from the unit and found that the unit was not cooling, it was plugged in and I heard the compressor running.
The main room had a crack around the ceiling. building settle. Easy to repair. The room was dusty around and on the lamps and TV. The lamp shades were cracked and stained, a final was missing from one lamp. The bath at a glance looked OK but when you really looked you see the bath vent is filthy, the shower head is covered in verdigris and dust on the body.
The tub spout bounced back and forth from the wall,(caulk failed).
The tub stopper didn't work and had to remove so the water would drain,( missing a part that allows it to stay up)
I found that the men bathroom by the pool had a faulty light switch, it turned on/off when it wanted.
This hotel claimed to be "NEW" but is really six years old. At what point does something cease to be new?
This hotel claims to be green. I did not see anything to indicate this, no recycle bin for a guest to use. They also operate a gas powered van.
People were at the main entrance "SMOKING", I HATE walking through a "No Smoking" area that people are smoking and just standing around. These people were guest and employees.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. The breakfast has variety like eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt and good coffee. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. There is a shuttle to the park every 15 min and you can call them to pick you up to return. Comparing this hotel with the average in the area, this is the best choice.

Beds are very relaxing - front desk guys Randy and Marco were excellent. Any questions, concerns, directions those guys were amazing. Really thought Randy was the Gen Mgr he was so professional and knowledgeable. Shuttle service to Busch Gardens was very well handled by Santiago.
