Stay was so nice comfortable staff is friendly and helpful
everything is available so comfortable location is good
Check-in and check out is really easy
Breakfast is good as well
Bathroom has everything shampoo, conditioner, body wash no need to bring anything no worries. I really recommend this place.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here I did not want to leave. This hotel is clean comfy and cozy and and the breakfast is worth waking up and coming downstairs for. Customer service is A+ top tier amazing.

This was our first experience with Avid and the Des Plaines location was great. The building parking area are in great condition. The desk personnel were very pleasant and very helpful, ensured we had all we needed and if we had any concerns. Room were great. Spacious, clean, great beds and pillows, bathrooms were very clean and in great condition. 100% Will stay at this location again.

After reading reviews which I always look at when booking a hotel, I was apprehensive to book here. The reception I received when walking into the property was very pleasant. I did have a problem with my key and had to go down to the lobby and the attendant came back up with me to make sure it worked and was happy to do so. I understand technology does not always work and so do not blame hotel.
The only grievance I did have with this property was a month ago I had booked this property for 1 night which was for business. My customer cancelled the day before and I had to cancel the room and was told I would be charged $50 and was charged the $50. I know a lot of properties do this now, but I have had the same thing happen before and have had other IHG companies waive this fee as I am a Gold Elite Member. This almost kept me from booking another night here. Overall the property is good and the staff I came in contact with both checking in and out were very professional and polite.

You will be pleased and a good choice you will discover. Nice lounge area in the reception area. There is also an outside area. Made to order 24/7 coffee machines.
Beds need some work

The hotel was decent, but nothing like other IHG hotels I've stayed in. The bed was terrible, and neither of us slept well. The first thing we said to each other after good morning, was "this bed sucks." Aside from that the room was very small. One small chair at a "desk" at the foot of the bed. If anyone was sitting there, no one could pass through. Overall, decent hotel, but pricey for what we got. Not a typical IHG room in my opinion.

This is a newish property that is clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We consider it a great value for us when looking for an overnight stay enroute to a destination. It's an excellent value for those on a budget. A good price when compared to other properties in the general area.
