Nighttime noise unnacceptable; lack of response

I have stayed in this hotel in the past without incident, but my stay last month was truly awful. I was woken up around 12:30 a.m. with the people in the room next to me talking EXTREMELY loud and banging around. It was concerning, and after about a half hour I called the front desk to ask what could be done, or if I could switch rooms (not that I wanted to at 1 a.m.!).

The clerk told me the hotel was full so I couldn't be moved, but he said he would talk to them to get them to quiet down. No one every came up stairs, and they continued talking LOUDLY and banging around chairs or something until 5 a.m. I wasn't able to go to sleep until after 5 a.m.. Obviously this was an awful stay. I messaged the hotel to see what could be done about it, but I have had no response. I would avoid staying here because of the possibility of serious sound issues, and the property’s lack of responsiveness to the issue.

I picked this hotel because it was right off the highway and in the town where my family lives that I was stopping to visit. It's a budget-friendly hotel, so that's the quality that you get (cheap towels & sheets, thin walls between units, etc.). The entire hotel is pet friendly and that was also a driving factor because the pet fee is very reasonable. My room was very clean and tidy but also very compact, so that was a little challenging with the dogs. Overall, it was a good experience for a quick overnight stay.

The perfect place to stay! Clean, friendly staff and they have quiet hours! The room 422 was remarkable. As a blue collar night shift worker the black out curtains were a deal breaker.

Poor facility, high price

Overall cleanliness of the hotel is sub par. Cleanliness of the bathroom was poor. There was mold in the shower, hair on the shower floor, and looked like some type of glue or adhesive in many spots on the side walls and floor of the shower. Drain in the bathroom sink was very slow to drain and would have to wait for the water to drain down- must have been near clogged Breakfast the next morning was way less than all other IHG properties we have stayed at- choices were minimal, seating area was very limited. I would not stay in another Avid and would not recommend

The staff are amazing! Scott went above and beyond at check-in and Christi made checking out a breeze. My cat, Violet, loved looking out the big window in our room. I'll definitely be back.

We like this place it’s newer, clean, nice beds, nice bathroom, HVAC works well, nice TV, very nice gym equipment and we have found the front desk staff to be very friendly and helpful!

I was very pleased with the friendliness of the staff during our stay. Our room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable.

Was a little disappointed with the breakfast selection and would have appreciated a coin-operated laundry facility.

Dirty and impractical

The hotel was dirty, the bedsheet smelled like dirty feet! it was gross! the bathroom wall was cracked. The hotel was hot and could not hold temperature. The phone did not work and when they came to fix it they brought their child with them! overall terrible
