The rooms were dirty doesn’t look like the shower was clean between guests or vacuumed.

Exceeded my expectations! First of all the gentleman that checked me in ( I can’t recall his name) was upbeat and the ease of checking in was the best I’ve received from IHG ( other properties take notes!). The room was 95% clean ( it was some lite touches that needed to be handled). But overall the room was decent. The breakfast area was clean and I had to give compliments to the woman that prepared the food because the breakfast potatoes were done well! I was able to charge my EV car up right outside. I will be back soon!

I picked this hotel for its location, but I also liked its clean concept and surroundings.
The lobby provided the right space to work until my room was ready.
There was a giant U-shaped couch with a TV where I read my book in the morning.
The rooms are simple but provide a mini-fridge. The fresh-ground decaf beans, anytime, were an added touch.
I had to leave early in the morning and felt safe going to my car.
My final compliment was the property’s cleanliness. Inside and out, the grounds were top-notched, shiny, and clean!

Well-maintained property, easy to access, hard flooring, comfortable beds, plenty of blankets and pillows, good temperature, and clean. Really nice, and I will stay here again next time I visit Milwaukee.

I absolutely love the pared down rooms and services. I think my favourite thing in the room was the hooks on the wall to help me stay organised during my stay.
Breakfast was a pared down HI Express breakfast and was just right. Avid will be my new go to hotel for my travels.

Booked a 2 night stay. First night was awful due to a strobe light blinking above the bed every 10 seconds. I was not upset by this until I talked to the front desk person the next morning. I showed the front desk person a video of the annoying strobe light, and they said yah - it was a known issue - in fact it was a number one complaint from guests. He’d send someone up to put tape over the strobe light on the smoke alarm. Now this made me angry. If the hotel staff knew about the issue - why weren’t they proactive? Why did I have to suffer through a sleepless night? Unacceptable.

good gym, clean room, newer property, rooms a little small but it appears intent on social gathering in lobby based on amenities. good pool. same blah food from HIE, but at least it is free. Okay coffee, and very convenient. board games in lobby a good touch
