I was very pleased with my stay at avid. the rooms were very well kept up very clean i can tell the staff takes alot of pride in there work here. I was also check in by a front desk clerk who was very happy to check me in at i belive 11 pm. usually people are tired and dont want to be at work. I didnt get that feeling from the front desk clerk she was happy to check me in. I give the hotel staff 5 stars for cleanliness of rooms and hotel very well kept up 😊

A hotel that will make you feel more at home. This is the only place I stay, everyone at the front desk is always so helpful and friendly.

Good: This is a no frills economic hotel but has all the basics you'll need.
Not Good: The person who checked me in did not ask for my ID, did not recognize me as a premium elite member, did not tell me about breakfast and didn't tell me where the elevator was at. She basically gave me the key and that was that. It seemed like she was covering the desk was the other person on duty was away. She wasn't rude, but it seemed like a very incomplete check-in. If she is the normal person who checks people in, you need to re5rain your employees.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. On the first night there was no hot water. The front desk gave me the wrong room with two beds instead of one and I had to go back again to change it. The sheets and pillowcases were dirty with hair and stains and replacement was not handled quickly. Housekeeping skipped my room twice and once it was not cleaned for two days until I went to the front desk. When I asked why my room was not cleaned the staff just said “I don’t know” with no concern. Towels were also replaced incorrectly with bath mats. Nothing about this stay was good.

Great place to stay. Not a vacation destination, but absolutely a great business stay hotel. Only drawbacks are the breakfast selection. Same as the local gas station.

Dirty room with noisy neighbors. The room had comb-webs hanging from ceiling outdated bathroom. Second room no better missing charging outlets and bathroom dirty with scrapes and holes in walls. Water pressure was low.

Original room had the loudest a/c unit I’ve ever heard. The person at the front counter knew about this issue but still assigned me that room. When they finally put me in a different room the next day they put me in a room where the shower did not drain, two out of three towels had hair on them and the TV did not work. I guess having IHG status doesn’t come in to play with this hotel.

This was our first time staying at an Avid Hotel. It was nice and clean. The bathroom door wouldn't open and close without a lot of pushing, I guess the tiles on the floor were too tall. Door needs to be cut off at bottom. And the toilette didn't always flush on the first flush. We figured out, you had to hold the handle down the entire time while flushing. Was disappointed no hot tub or pool, but I understand it's mostly just somewhere to lay your head and sleep. And we did just that. Thanks

My grandson wanted to spend vacation on the beach. This location was perfect for us. Sunburn and all! Room was comfortable and clean. Walking distance from the public beach.

My keycard was not working to open the door to my room. Went down stairs and the lady at the check in giggled and I know why your key isn’t working. I looked at her and she said I have the wrong keycard to that man…. I saw another man in front of me leaving to the elevator. She said she gave him my room number and key. I asked her “wait did he go in my room?” She said “yes and then he saw your bags and knew it wasn’t his room”. Needles to say I didn’t sleep well and was uncomfortable that some stranger was in my room. The next day my key didn’t work again, same lady and this time just said sorry about that….. I will NEVER stay here again. And the restroom walls were cracked and shower somewhat dirty.

The fact that this hotel has no carpet in the rooms is the best thing ever and needs to be implemented with other hotels
