A couple of picky cons, but still a Five Star Stay!!!

My overall stay was awesome! The gentleman who checked me in was nice and personable! The room was nice and clean-with the exception of an unfortunate stray hair in the restroom. The personalized welcome, on the TV, was a very nice touch! The breakfast was a nice option, that I wish I had a chance to enjoy. The still water option wasn’t all that good, to me. And the woman who checked me out wasn’t as nice and welcoming, as the gentleman who checked me in.

Breakfast bar items were good, but cold. Soap dispenser was broke and no makeup removers were in the room.

I travel much of the year and generally stay in rooms that have kitchenettes. This room was very nice and had a fridge. However, no microwave. I drank my stored coffee cold before leaving for the airport 4:45am.
That being said, there was coffee, etc. available at the lobby. I'm just picky and prefer my own brewed coffee.
Otherwise, a very well designed and modern room.
The last thing that was more of a 'con' was that I had to use an UBER rather than take the complementary hotel shuttle to the airport. I had to be at the airport by 5am and the shuttle, which sounded like a passenger van, was already booked and the later time slot would have me far too late to arrive at the airport for check in

So avid hotel is cute and quaint. It's like a boutique version of a hotel. I like the idea of that the breakfast is included you know continental is great: oatmeal, toast, juice and coffee. They had hot items like potatoes and these cute little egg omelette. My only concern with the hot food is I'm not really sure how they keep it warm. I think they start breakfast at. I think seven in the morning until 10 am. I came down around 9 o'clock there was food in the hot area. When I ate the egg. It wasn't even warm. It's was lukewarm/cold eggs so I don't know how they keep food at right temperature to consume. They didn't have bacon slices. They had bacon bits that was weird. I love the selection of yogurts and the fresh whole fruit. They have the good Greek yogurt Okios.
The room was comfortable. It's cute and clean. I like the compact version of that room. The bed was neat and it was made up perfectly. The bathroom was clean. The only thing that kind of turned me off about the room was the floor near the bed and desk wasn't I don't think 100% swept Because I took my shoes off and I had socks on and I was walking around with my socks, and of course, I felt like there was something on the ground and so I sat down and looked at the bottle with my feet and there were a I don't know if it was dried food or pebbles or something, but there was something on the ground then I went looked at the ground under the desk area there was women's hair. It was fine hair and I said 'oh somebody did not sweep', but the rest of the room was clean. A Swifer broom can detect undetectable dirt on the floor.

Nice hotel everything was up to standards. The staff was friendly and helpful. Just wish there was more to choose from for breakfast. My kids liked the free hot chocolate. The location was perfect I rate the hotel a 10

This was our first stay at an Avid hotel, and we will be looking for them wherever we travel now! The rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable and the showers amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful, as well.

Avid Hotels (IHG) did a GREAT JOB with this property! Check-in was smooth, the room was spotless (shout-out to housekeeping who always had our room back to top shape every afternoon!), the pillows…oh the pillows!! I wish I owned a set or two of these pillows! And then there’s the coffee machine in the lobby…there is not a coffee machine or Keurig in each room, but who would want one when you can go down to the lobby and with the push of a button have a FRESHLY GROUND pour over on the spot?! The coffee was fantastic.
If you want to stay somewhere with MAXIMUM COMFORT and pay MINIMAL COIN this is the place for you!

I have stayed at an avid hotel in Fayetteville, Arkansas and recently Oklahoma City. The hotels at both locations were perfect for what I needed. Rooms were very comfortable, CLEAN, and the beds were amazing. Highly recommended.

Clean property, friendly staff, and very college style hotel. It has all the basic needs in a room except for a regular coffee maker. Free airport shuttle. Recognized IHG club membership members.
