We were in town for a wedding. The entire experience was great from check in to check out. Only issue was the tv and the bed was way to soft.

Jennifer was great! There was some type of confusion with my rooms and Jennifer solved it with EXCELLENT managerial control.
Disappointing Experience

This was not a good experience from the beginning. There was no TV remote in the room and I was sent to the front desk to get one. The remote didn't work and I was told I needed to come to the front desk so they could reassign my room. When I complained about being sent to the front desk again I was told they didn't have anyone to come to my room with a new key and escort me to my new room. At this point they must have noticed that I was a rewards member and all of a sudden she was coming to my room with a new key and assigned a room across the hall so I didn't have to move my luggage far. This should have been the response whether I was a rewards member or not. There was no coffee maker in either room. In the morning I went to the front desk to checkout and there was no one there. I did not want to use the app to check out as I wanted to ask about the best route to the expressway. I would not recommend this hotel if you are expecting a pleasant experience.

I had never stayed in an Avid Hotel before, and it will likely be a while before I do again. .The design is nice. The room was adequate but extremely small. HOWEVER. A couple of things really bothered me. First, I was traveling with a dog, and I was put in a room that was right at then elevator lobby, which meant we heard absolutely everyone who arrived on the fourth floor. Worse, one traveler arrived at midnight (after I'd gone to sleep) and at first tried to open our door (mistake I presume) and my dog, an not-quite-two-year-old golden doodle went into full watchdog mode (first time I'd experienced that). Then he or someone else noisily went back out at 3 a.m. (more protective barking--remember I was about 10 feet from the elevator) and back in again at 4 and then the first person to head out by elevator (remember ALL of this was audible in a hotel with minimal soundproofing) so I got very little sleep. Also I had brought some food, and when I went down to microwave my dinner, I noticed that the serving dishes had not been cleaned since breakfast--there were flecks of eggs floating around in about a half-inch of water. (Needless to say, that although the sole person working at night assured me that the serving dishes were carefully washed in the morning, I did NOT eat eggs the next day. ) Third, it was my observation that almost everyone on the staff (mostly the next morning) smoked (outside) but there was no ashtrays so the grass is littered with cigarette butts. Also, the hand soap dispenser by the sink was empty. I found the staff to be extremely pleasant, but I could only conclude that no one was especially invested in their job. The bed was comfortable. I'm not going to rush back there.

This was my first stay at an AVID hotel and it could not have been better. it was excellent from check in to check out.

i had a great time at the hotel with very clean rooms and all its details, the bathroom was very big with a small room, the food was very tasteful and served on time.

I booked this hotel using IHG points, but my stay was extremely disappointing. On the first night, around 11 PM, two other guests were able to open my room door due to a hotel error in issuing room keys. This was a major security concern.
Additionally, the hotel mistakenly charged my credit card for the stay. Although I was told that this was their error and that a refund would be issued, it has been over two weeks and I still have not received it.
Overall, the hotel’s management seems disorganized, and I cannot recommend it due to the safety and billing issues I experienced.

Room was clean and nice. everything worked as I used it. HVAC did not seem to work as intended. Fan speed did not change (high vs low) stayed the same. Also tried to shut unit down(off) and fan ran all night.

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. The basics were good -- good bed, good bathroom, clean, etc. Breakfast was 3-star. However, the king-bed room was very "tight" and minimal. No room for 2 people to sit, except on the bed. The hotel's *one* ice machine was broken and out of service. OK for one-night stays. Would not book again for 2-or-more night stays.

The breakfast was a bit subpar. We have stayed at numerous hotels in the area and the breakfast here was probably the worst. Not a big deal to me, they are never particularly good. They had the usual options of cereal, baked goods, some not so fresh fruit, and reconstituted scrambled eggs with a rotating meat option (usually sausage).
The workout area was adequate. It had free weights, treadmill, stair climber and some tension bands. Meh, but it works.
The rooms were clean. The bed was reasonable but I have definitely had more comfortable mattresses at other hotels. Notably though, NO BEDBUGS!!! That was a huge plus because I have had 2 bed bug hotels in this area.
The rate was very reasonable for the rooms. I will likely book here again in the future.
