We had a great time at the Avid Hotel! The bed was incredibly comfortable — we had a hard time getting up in the morning. The staff was very friendly and communicated with us via text to check if we needed housekeeping, which was super convenient. After a long day, we really appreciated the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable pillows and beds allowing for a nice night sleep. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The price was a good value for the property and location.

At check in we were given choice of floors. Room was very nice - new, clean, great shower, comfortable bed. Loved that the tv had on screen program guide (many other hotels we stayed at did not). Nearby restaurant Salt & Pepper Grill was excellent & great service.
Close to downtown Holland

We have stayed here a few times as it's close to downtown Holland. I feel that on this trip the room could have been cleaned better. The headboard was layered in dust which makes me feel they didn't clean the room as well as they could have.
We requested a room on the 3rd floor but got room 118 because they were completely full. We didn't care for our room because it was loud (by the ice machine, not far from the breakfast area so we could hear people chatting on the way to eat). The doors are also extremely loud when they slam shut and you hear everything...like the person above our room walked so heavy it kept waking me up as I drifted to sleep. I would only stay here again if I was guaranteed a room on the 3rd floor and further away from areas where people congregate / ice machines

Lack of breakfast choices
No coffee maker in the room
Not the nicest Avid but it was okay.

Room was clean and quiet but the air conditioning did not work properly. Breakfast was good. Poor lighting in the shower and an obnoxious entrance light with no switch other than your room key to keep the power on. Several used, chipped, dirty ice buckets so chose them carefully.

Convenient location for Zeeland, Holland and Holland State Park. Clean, friendly helpful staff. I recommend Frank’s Place, Itty Bitty Bar and Hog Wild BBQ.

All clean, stairs carpeted and bright, bed and pillows great, staff friendly and responsive, easy to get to. A little noisy but acceptable. Would stay here again!
