Holiday Inn Aruba - Needs Renovations

Rooms and common areas are dirty and outdated. The hotel needs a major renovation to compete with competitors in the Palm Beach area. The cost/points to stay will continue to increase but the convenient location and lower-than-competitor price point (for now) will only maintain it's appeal if they start to renovate and update the property.

Vacation Ruined by Flood and Front Desk Staff

On our vacation, there was a flood on the 2nd floor that came into our room on the 1st floor. Everything was flooded and it took over an hour to move my family to another room. The second room had mold and smelled like pets and it took them over 8 hours to move us to another room. The rooms had hair on the floors and each time they cleaned they forget to bring clean towels. When the flood was occurring, toilet water fell onto my daughter’s head that came out of the ceiling lights and it devastated my child. The location of the hotel is amazing, but the hotel rooms are dilapidated and need a LOT of remodeling done for the amount they charge for a room each night. The food was expensive and had no taste. Aruba is lovely, but I recommend giving your business to another establishment.

As always Holiday Inn delivers, is our third visit and never been disappointed, the crew always going out of their way to please the customers, same with the restaurant staff, we brought this time three good friends and they already fall in love

The Holiday Inn Aruba Resort is a beautiful property with direct access to the beach, a relaxing spa, refreshing pools, and several on-site restaurants to enjoy. The location is unbeatable for a tropical getaway, and the grounds are well-maintained and inviting.

What truly made the experience memorable was the staff — warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. I especially want to recognize Eugene, who went above and beyond with every interaction. His kind spirit and selfless service truly stand out — he pours from a pure heart, and I wholeheartedly believe he deserves a raise! Additionally, Andres at the outside bar, amazing bartender + photographer you didn't know you needed!

While the resort is lovely, the rooms are a bit outdated and could definitely use an upgrade to match the rest of the property’s charm. That said, the overall experience was still wonderful, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and vibrant Aruba stay.

This resort is the best resort I have ever stayed in all my many years of traveling. My wife and I love the resort in every aspect that we can think of. The location, the employees, the service, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, and more, were all excellent! We will definitely come back next year, twice!

Wish I could've stayed the whole week, but my schedule just didn't allow it. Can't wait to go back. The beach is right there and the pool was a nice place to relax. Great hotel to stay at while in Aruba.

Not the Worst but Not the Best

This hotel isn't bad, it just needs some updating. The rooms are very basic and standard. The water pressure is very low- so it takes a long time to rinse your hair! The rugs outside our room and near the elevators were a bit dirty- they needed to be vacummed. The building I stayed in was very loud at night due to the club next door. I never really had much contact with the staff. Room Service was okay- but if they didn't get to your room by 5 pm and you wanted to go back to your room to shower well then your room didn't get cleaned. Also, many hotels kept their bars opened, but this one closes early

Staff was nice. Food was great. Location was perfect. Check-in was perfect. Everything was perfect with the best vacation I have ever been on. Can't wait to go back again.
