The property, accommodations and most staff are wonderful. We had 2 issues - 1 with the meal vouchers (the reservation line quoted meals for 4 people (we are a family of 4) but the front desk advised we were only allowed 2. The manager offered to check with IHG reservations but we never heard back. 2nd issue was housekeeping - we requested service on our 3rd day and had to ask multiple times to have services.

I truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel has a true resort feels and very conveniently located. My room was clean but there were stains on my sheets. I reported this to the staff very easily via text and it was quickly corrected. Would def. recommend and would surely stay again.

We stayed at this resort years ago and loved it. This time, not so much. The staff was very pleasant and that was the best part of the stay. The restaurant was nice, but overpriced. The resort has plumbing issues; we had to move rooms while staying due to toilet overflowing with black water all over the floor. We moved to a second room and the entire floor smelled like someone smoking weed. The staff did try to make it right by reducing the cost, which was appreciated. This is not somewhere I would like to return. Even our teenagers were not impressed.

My family has stayed here for several years. Since the hotel remodeled rooms and lobby it is very nice. Hotel staff have always been very helpful and friendly.

We booked a last minute get away at the Holiday Inn HIG. What a lovely hotel !! Everything from the Decor, food and staff were excellent. We has an ocean view room which was absolutely perfect. They even provide beach chairs and umbrellas for rent. I cant wait to return next year.

Not clean and awful experience

We arrived at 2 and checked in just incase a room was ready. We were told it was and given room 551. We loaded things from the car went to our room. When we walked in I could tell the floors had not been cleaned, there was sand in the chair, coins on the floor and the shower had hair on the wall and glass doors looked very dirty. I went back to the front desk and explained it all. She looked and another room was ready 705. We packed our stuff from 551 and moved to 705 only to find the rooms are not the same. So I wasn’t getting what I paid for. I went back to the front desk and talked with the same lady again. She said I can call when room 551 is ready-cleaned. She called 15 minutes later and we moved back to 551. Hair still in the shower and floors still not cleaned. We called again and the lady came in telling us she couldn’t do certain stuff because she is sick. She wiped the hair off the shower wall and we cleaned our own floor. We had to get to a concert so the next day I went back to the front desk and explained everything. The only thing she said was we can comp the resort fee. So we got $50 back. We travel a lot and this is the worst experience I have ever had.
