Front desk staff needs some help

Frustrated with front desk. Took about 20 minutes standing line to be seen, then about another 15 minutes with someone before I was told my room wouldn't be ready for another 30 minutes. It was 6pm why is room not ready? Offered a free breakfast for the delay, but had to get that fixed as well when checking out. Views were nice, pool was great, rooms were just fine. The front desk has some issues to work on.

Took me almost my entire stay to get them to do something about air conditioning unit that didn’t work at all… which the ended up replacing the day before we left. The bed and everything was comfortable but with the temperature I hardly slept. If it wasn’t the only dog friendly hotel available when I booked I’d have left and asked for my money back. Also, if you’re in the secondary building, you have to walk to the main one through the lobby to have access to an ice machine and the window is huge on the ground level - not great if you’re changing and someone on the staff is walking by

This resort was amazing. One of the cleanest we have stayed in. The staff was amazing. The shuttle service was a great bonus. The hot tub was nice but it needed alittle cleaning (baseball tournament) players were staying so kids in and out of it a lot. The cleaning staff were on every detail and super friendly. Would highly recommend this resort.

I'll start by saying the views from the pool were absolutely stunning. The pool was nice and warm. Loved the tiki bar and drinks by the pool. Kids could stay there all day. Kids also loved the game room. I appreciated the free on site laundry! We go through clothes quick with kids. The food was ok, and a little over priced. Wish they offered free breakfast for guests. Staff was all very friendly! Our room was older and def more run down. Ceiling was cracked, black mold in tiles by shower that looks like they tried to cover up but still there. Needs renovating. Could hear people from the pool easily, which made it hard to fall asleep. Loved the shuttle bus into down for convenient traveling.

We stayed here last year and returned again this year! The property is beautifully taken care of. The view is to die for. We watched as people were emptying their lobster traps while lying by the pool. The food and drinks were top notch. Service was amazing, staff is very attentive to your needs. We will definitely return next year!

Maria was wonderful. She made sure we were happy with our accommodations.
Juliette kept our room clean and ready for us when we returned from our day out.
We would recommend and return here again.

We booked an Queen Suite room with Ocean view. We were disappointed of the Room (Rsvelt). It was noisy, cold, old furniture and carpet, no stores to close. At 5 am we were awake because the Room was clear. A Standard Room in the Main Building has better accommodation. Only the Price was an Upgrade.
The outdoor Pool is Open until 10:30 pm and used by the children, the bar for adults close at 9 pm.

There is no hot water in the bathroom. We called the front desk 2 times and they did not fix it. My kids just got back from the pool and they are so cold. We sleep in the cold temperatures the whole night. We did not get any respect.

Our family had a great stay in Bar Harbor! This resort exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for its proximity to town and Acadia National Park. Having access to the free bus was wonderful.

Room has a good amount of space. The bed, bedding, pillows were comfy. Great shower! The grounds are very nice! One big negative was my room had a balcony which was useless since you had to climb out of a window opening to sit outside. Climbing out is not an exaggeration.
