Tivoli Park, Ljubljana's grandest park, seamlessly blends into the city center. Crafted in 1813 by French engineer Jean Blanchard, it covers about 5 square kilometers. It boasts three majestic chestnut tree-lined pathways, adorned with floral displays, captivating trees, and a wealth of statues and fountains.

The old town of Ljubljana, with its medieval streets, fantastic architecture, Ljubljanica River and many bridges is ideal to be explored on foot. On the way, you can stop at numerous boutique shops.

The medieval castle rising above the old town is a must-visit to learn more about Ljubljana’s history. The views are great, and on a sunny day, can reach all the way to the Alps.

National The gallery should be on every art lover’s bucket list. It houses the country’s largest collection of most important artwork dating from the middle ages to the 20th century. It is also the home to the original baroque monuments, Fountain of the Three Rivers of Carniola by Francesco Robba.

Botanical Garden of University of Ljubljana is a tropical escape in the southeastern part of Ljubljana’s old town. It is one the oldest cultural, scientific, and educational organisations in Slovenia which contains more than 4500 plant species. Visit the glasshouse and later sit down at Teahouse Primula for some afternoon tea and treat yourself to something sweet in the shades of lush greenery.
