O Dia Perfeito

Manhã

Begin your day in the best way imaginable, with a breakfast of succulent fresh fruit and delicious pastries on the deck of your overwater bungalow, brought to you on a traditional wooden canoe adorned with exotic flowers. After soaking up the morning sun as you look out over the Pacific Ocean, we can arrange for a private cruise around the lagoon by speedboat. Dive into the crystal clear water and snorkel alongside incredible giant turtles, rays and dazzling tropical fish.

Tarde

Dry off in the warm ocean breeze before indulging in a luxury picnic lunch on a private beach. Let the ocean lap over your feet as you dine on wonderfully fresh seafood and exotic tropical salads. As the ocean calls you back, a diving instructor will guide you around spectacular sites. Discover a reef teeming with marine life, and swim with reef sharks in an unforgettable experience. Finish the afternoon with a boat trip to our sister hotel's Deep Ocean Spa for sheer indulgence.

Noite

End the day with a freshly crafted cocktail at Vini Vini Bar's Happy Hour. The sun setting over the ocean is unmissable, and can be enjoyed as you sit back and relax under the palms or stroll along Matira Beach. When you are ready to eat, a romantic candlelit dinner can be served on the beach or at the end of the pontoon. If it is a theme night at Noa Noa Restaurant, indulge in barbecued meats, freshly caught seafood and buffets of regional dishes, all accompanied by Polynesian shows.

  • Legend

In Tahitian, Bora Bora means 'first born'. According to Polynesian mythology, Bora Bora was the first piece of land to emerge from the sea after the sacred island of Raiatea was created. Captain James Cook landed here in 1777. The island is known as 'the pearl of the Pacific' and its lagoon is considered one of the most beautiful in the world.

  • Local oils

Monoi and tamanu oils are local beauty secrets. Tamanu is applied to sunburn and mosquito bites, and monoi is an excellent body moisturiser.

  • Tattoos

Polynesian tattoos are an ancient tradition and have many different meanings. They were originally made with sharks' teeth, but these days sterilised needles are used. Two great tattoo artists, Fati and Marama, offer their services on Bora Bora.
