O que você pode fazer
O Dia Perfeito

Manhã

Most of our guests visit the Holy City to perform Umrah or Hajj, and a trip to nearby Jabal Al Nour mountain may further enrich your visit. After Fajr Prayer and breakfast in the Al Tayebat restaurant, you can travel there by car in 25 minutes. The steep climb to the sacred Hira Cave, where the prophet Muhammad received his first revelation, takes around two hours. You’ll have enough time to savour the atmosphere and admire the views before returning to the hotel for the afternoon Dhur prayer.

Tarde

After the Dhur prayers, you could ask the concierge to arrange a taxi to take you out to lunch. The nearby Al Sadda restaurant serves mouthwatering, traditional Arabic dishes such as Mandi grilled meat and rice, while neighbouring Durrah specialises in seafood. For many of our guests, a visit the Holy Shrines of Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat is an important part of the Hajj, and there’s enough time to visit all three sites before returning to the hotel for the Asr Prayer in the early evening.

Noite

The Makkah Towers and Abraj Al Bait malls are both conveniently close to the hotel, and the evening is the perfect time to browse for clothing, jewellery or exotic fragrances. The multi-storey Abraj Al Bait also has an observation platform beneath its immense clocktower, with fabulous views over the Grand Mosque and the Holy City. Afterwards, if you’re feeling hungry, the Abu Zaid restaurant, renowned for its delicious mashed fava beans and hot, baked flatbreads, is only 10 minutes away by taxi.

  • Al Kabaa Al Musharafah Wash

The holy house of Allah (Al Kabaa Al Musharafah) is opened and washed from inside twice a year during Shabaan and Muharram months.

  • Al Kabaa Door Key

The key to Al Kabaa's door is exclusively under the custody of the Al Alshaybah family who have passed it on down the generations since the Prophet Mohamed (prayers and peace be upon him) ordered it to be kept with their tribe.

  • Holy Mosque

The Holy Mosque is open 24 hours a day and has numerous entrances: the King Fahed entrance (one of the main entrances of the Mosque) is right in front of the hotel's Haram entrance.

  • Shops

Saudi law prohibits any shop to continue opening during prayer times. They can only resume working when prayers have finished.

  • Zamzam water

Located in the centre of the city, the sacred well of Zamzam is reportedly the oldest flowing well in the world and still pumps out about 18 litres of water per second.
