A beautiful morning in Phuket is always a real pleasure. You can start with a dip in the ocean and follow it up with breakfast. Perhaps a day-trip or short visit to some of the islands nearby are more enticing. Mornings are filled with exciting possibilities!

Tarde

After lunch, take a walk around Old Phuket Town to marvel at the dynamic, heritage architecture. You could take a tour around the island or enjoy some shopping in the many stores, markets and even malls in Phuket. Try the street food in this diverse melting pot of cuisines and cultures.

Noche

A traditional Thai massage at our spa would be a nice way to round off a day of exploration. Dinner by the beach is always a highlight and you can enjoy the food at any one of our fantastic restaurants. A few drinks at the bar, soaking in the soulful Kamala sunset, is fun way to cap off a long day taking in lovely Phuket.

  • Phuket's Natural Landscape

    Everyone loves the beaches (and there are more than 30 beaches in Phuket to enjoy) but did you know that 70% of Phuket is actually covered by mountains? In fact, one explanation for the name "Phuket" is the word "bukit" or "hill" as it is known in Malay. So if you like the hills as much as the beach, you are spoilt for choice.

    As an island perched between important trading nodes of India and Eastern Asia, Phuket has always had a mixture of communities from all over the Asia and parts of Europe. The Sino-Portuguese architecture of Phuket represents these cross-cultural aesthetics perfectly.

  • Local Thai Culture

    Thai people are friendly and hospitable. Greet them with a 'wai', by placing your palms together with fingers pointing up and bowing gently. Most Thais are Buddhist and when you visit a religious place, dress semi-formally with full-sleeve and knee-length clothing.

Comfortable Clothing
Phuket has tropical climate with plenty of rainfall between May and October. Although it gets cooler after November, it is still advisable to wear light clothing. Apart from the your essential swimwear, cotton clothes that fit comfortably are your best option. A hat and sunglasses are the recommended accessories for sunny days.
Essentials for Your Skin
The tropical sun is a wonderful and colourful experience but it is important to come prepared. Avoid spending too much time in direct sunlight and if you do, be sure to wear sunscreen on exposed areas of your body. Choose high SPF sunscreens when possible as they last longer.
Footwear for Beach and Adventure
It is very important to carry some comfortable shoes for your trip to Phuket. Flip flops are great for the poolside or even the beach during the evening but you will need a more sturdy solution for longer walks and trips. A good pair of shoes will serve you well in this climate.
