Kimpton Fitzroy London is proud to announce The Kimpton Bun, a limited-edition collaboration with our much-loved neighbour, Fortitude Bakehouse.

Baked fresh in ultra-limited batches of just 60 per day, The Kimpton Bun is available to hotel guests with breakfast included in their rate at Fitz’s Brasserie. For those passing through, a taste of ‘Bloomsbury‘ awaits in The Parlour for £4.50 (walk-in only).

Available from 8.00 am, Thursday to Sunday, 11 September – 2 November 2025. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Baked in Bloomsbury

Inspired by Bloomsbury’s storied past, The Kimpton Bun is a cherry cheong and custard morning bun, crafted with Fortitude’s 24-hour fermented brioche. Layered with silky custard, a cherry glaze, and delicate pink icing, it honours the blossom trees that once lined Russell Square and the hotel’s grand colonnade.

Cherries, a favourite fruit of Queen Victoria and celebrated when Kimpton Fitzroy London first opened, return here in a pastry that reimagines history with indulgence. Created with zero waste in mind, the fruit is repurposed from Fortitude’s cherry cheong soda, making each bun as sustainable as it is delicious.
