Slip straight from hotel warmth into festive magic and back again — it's one of the most charming Frankfurt Christmas markets to experience up close, and the easiest to reach from your room.

Frankfurt Christmas Market (Frankfurter Weihnachtsmarkt)

Where: Römerberg, Paulsplatz, Mainkai, Hauptwache, Friedrich-Stolze-Platz & Roßmarkt

Step straight from the hotel into one of Germany's oldest and largest Christmas markets, first documented in 1393, spreading across six central squares. Over 200 stalls, a 26-metre Christmas tree with roughly 25,000 lights, and daily tower brass performances from St. Nicholas Church set the scene. The Roßmarkt section adds a festive ice rink and a Ferris wheel, while the Grand Bell Ringing of Frankfurt on 28 November and 24 December marks special seasonal moments you won't want to miss.
