Regent Carlton Cannes

Experience The Pinnacle of Film at
Carlton Cannes, A Regent Hotel

Film culture walks in perfect step with the graceful hospitality of Regent Hotels. Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, has a rich legacy as the very first Cannes Film Festival in 1946 was hosted in the hotel’s old casino. This forged an unbreakable bond between the festival, the hotel and Hollywood and film royalty. An electric energy sparks fresh perspectives in the hotel lobby as stars make dramatic departures en route to the Red Carpet for this celebrated annual spectacle of cinema.

Vanity Fair x IHG Beach Club Luncheon

IHG Hotels & Resorts and Vanity Fair hosted The Cannes Luncheon, a celebration of talent in the world of film. Guests dined on perhaps Cannes’ most emblematic dish – The Carlton Beach Club’s famous Homer Lobster Brioche all while enjoying the scenic views of the Côte d'Azur.

Julian works with the next generation of icons who entrust him to shoot them in these most candid moments. He is an award-winning filmmaker and photographer operating at the intersection of entertainment and fashion.

Red Carpet Reimagined

The festival’s Red Carpet is recognized around the world for its scarlet staircase, synonymous with style, status, and opulence. For the 76th Festival we reimagined the red carpet experience with an homage to that legendary opulence in honor of our grand reopening as the host to the official Opening Dinner of the Cannes Film Festival.

The Language of Lights

Light narrates through illumination, flooding its canvas with a spectrum of technicolor to draw the eye to what stands in its spotlight. Artistic director Lionel Hun painted the Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, with light in celebration of the hotel’s grand return at the Cannes Film Festival.
