From Sapporo City, take Route 230 Ishiyama Street heading southwest. Pass through Jozankei Onsen and cross Nakayama Pass. Descend Nakayama Pass and proceed through Kimobetsu Town to reach Toyako Town. Estimated travel time: approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes.
From Hakodate City, head north on Route 5. Pass through Onuma Park along the way. Continue through Yakumo Town and merge onto Route 37 in Oshamanbe Town. Follow Route 37 to reach Toyako Town. Estimated travel time: approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes.
Leave the airport and proceed along Route 130. Take Route 16 Shikotsuko Sky Road heading towards Lake Shikotsu. After passing Lake Shikotsu, merge onto Route 276 and cross Bifue Pass. Descend Bifue Pass and connect to Route 230. Continue towards Toyako Town. Estimated travel time: approximately 2
