They have a nice conference room which helps with meetings. The Cupboard was wonderful to help with our meetings and supplying goodies for our guests. Thank you for all you do at Candlewood Suites! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Our first stay at a Candlewood We usually stay at Holiday Inn Express and this was a foray at a Candlewood. There was no breakfast included but we purchased tickets for the Denny's nearby. Unfortunately the selections offered for the ticket were very limited and Denny's wait-staff treated us like "one of those". The room was equipped with an energy-saver thermostat setup that seems to shut off at night because there was no motion sensor activity, therefore the room got hot and when it would come on it would get really cold. We were constantly throwing covers on and off to get comfortable. So we didn't rest well. The refrigerator ice maker had to be shut off because it was so noisy. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for dining and shopping. It just didn't work well for us. October 18, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Value, but More Attention to Details Needed I stay at this property often enough for business for lengths from a little over a week to more than two. This past trip was pretty much without any major hiccups, but a few things needed to be pointed out. 1) I mentioned, on my first night, that my TV was having some major reception issues. I could not view any of the lower channels because of "snow" on the screen (so basically, watching any of the major networks like NBC, CBS, ABC, CW was completely out of the question). I was assured that the cableman would be called. My TV was never fixed and the issue was never addressed. I did bring it up again at checkout. 2) Garbage removal: seems to be an on-and-off issue in the pool area as well as on some floors. I should really never see garbage piling around the bins. Also, because people cook at the BBQs in the pool area, the tables should be wiped down daily. They were sticky the entire time I stayed. Save for these issues, I still always have a comfortable stay at the Candlewood suites. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfy, rooms quiet, and the A/C is adequate. October 11, 2013

We chose the Candlewood because it was close to the house and we were going to stay in Roswell for several days. 5 families from out of town stayed at the Candlewood. We got an additional discount as we were in Roswell for the funeral. We were all impressed with everything. When we asked for anything, it was immediately given or answered. When we return to Roswell, we all plan to stay at Candlewood, again. It was perfect. Thank You again, The Ahlen families September 25, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and Quiet This was my third stay at the Candlewood Suites in Roswell, NM. For long-term stays in the area it's really the most ideal hotel. Kitchens with a cooktop, microwave, full fridge, dishwasher, and 2 outdoor BBQs for grilling up whatever you need. They have a small gym and free laundry facilities (such a nice bonus). Outdoors the pool and hottub are great for relaxing after long day or on the weekend. There is no free breakfast at this hotel, but there are many options nearby for a quick breakfast, or just make your own in your room. Only con is that some of the hotel mechanical and electrical needs some maintenance. My door handle was hard to use at times and would automatically latch open from the electronic key lock. As well, yearly maintenance of the smoke detectors needs attention as mine required a battery change in the middle of the night when it started going off. This is definitely one of my first choices in Roswell when I need to stay for a week or more. September 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Room and Staff We stopped in Roswell for a couple of nights on our way from Louisiana to California while we were moving. The room was very comfortable and accommodated my husband and myself along with our dogs nicely. It was a king suite which allowed us to have a separate living room and bedroom setup. For the price of a regular hotel room at some other brands it can't be beat! We were able to relax and refresh before we started back on our journey! Plus we were able to enjoy all of the tourist attractions in Roswell :) September 12, 2013
