we stay there on business! They are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are very well kept up. They have a nice conference room which helps with meetings. The Cupboard was wonderful to help with our meetings and supplying goodies for our guests. Thank you for all you do at Candlewood Suites! You make it feel more like home. :)

We usually stay at Holiday Inn Express and this was a foray at a Candlewood. There was no breakfast included but we purchased tickets for the Denny's nearby. Unfortunately the selections offered for the ticket were very limited and Denny's wait-staff treated us like "one of those". The room was equipped with an energy-saver thermostat setup that seems to shut off at night because there was no motion sensor activity, therefore the room got hot and when it would come on it would get really cold. We were constantly throwing covers on and off to get comfortable. So we didn't rest well. The refrigerator ice maker had to be shut off because it was so noisy. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for dining and shopping. It just didn't work well for us.

I stay at this property often enough for business for lengths from a little over a week to more than two. This past trip was pretty much without any major hiccups, but a few things needed to be pointed out.
1) I mentioned, on my first night, that my TV was having some major reception issues. I could not view any of the lower channels because of "snow" on the screen (so basically, watching any of the major networks like NBC, CBS, ABC, CW was completely out of the question). I was assured that the cableman would be called. My TV was never fixed and the issue was never addressed. I did bring it up again at checkout.
2) Garbage removal: seems to be an on-and-off issue in the pool area as well as on some floors. I should really never see garbage piling around the bins. Also, because people cook at the BBQs in the pool area, the tables should be wiped down daily. They were sticky the entire time I stayed.
Save for these issues, I still always have a comfortable stay at the Candlewood suites. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfy, rooms quiet, and the A/C is adequate.
