Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Stay All in all my family and I had a good stay. The hotel is quite outdated though. It would be good if the management could update the exterior and the interior hallways. Our room looked renewed as to the carpeting, bedding, décor, and electrical appliances. The bathroom, however, was another story. Sure the bathtub curtain rod was replaced to one of the new arced ones. But the tub itself looked a bit as though there was a patch job done on the caulking, this was also apparent on the moldings by the flooring. And worse of worse were the tub faucet that was not installed properly so that it could be turned from side to side and the toilet that needs replacing soon as it ran very slowly. We were actually paranoid that the toilet would overflow. The hair dryer is old and one of those tiny devices that is stuck to the wall with not much power. There was a light timer that looked ancient and controlled one fluorescent type bulb on the ceiling; the timer did not work and the light could stay on forever if one did not manually turn the knob to the 'Off' position. Our sink stopper knob fell off because apparently guests had to pull hard to make the stopper pull up. We figured out why. Like the bathroom faucet the sink stopper was installed badly. We found that all of the staff during our stay were friendly and ready to lend assistance to all of our needs. Any questions from walking directions to BART to requesting plates to warm up food in our microwave were met with total satisfaction in a very timely fashion. 23 January 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Where everyone knows your name This review is long overdue. I have been staying at the HI in Dublin, CA off and on (75%) since July 2014. After finding out that my project is coming to an end I am finding that I am going to miss all the smiling faces and humor of the staff at this property. Everyone from the hotel's general manager to the engineers that keep things running have been the best. I will miss the smiling faces at the front desk that greet me when I arrive and wish me well when I check out. They are hard workers and do everything to make sure my stay is comfortable. The restaurant is nothing really special; however, the folks that run it are wonderful. The restaurant manager and her staff have become like sisters. I have made friends with the other guests that also frequent this property. I will miss them too! Since last July, there seems to have been an effort to improve the property. Little things that may not be noticed by other guests have changed (i.e. new carpet, minor repairs, etc.). This is good since my only criticism is that the property is a bit dated. I look forward to visiting in the distant future to see what else changes. Thank you so much for making sure my visits are enjoyable. 19 January 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by NEEDS UPDATE! Customer service is excellent. However, this hotel is overdue for an update / remodel. Shower and sink drains are slow. Toilet flushes very slowly. Old carpet and furniture...room has an off smell. I will not stay there next time. 13 January 2015
