Rooms are very noisy, single pane glass doors do not keep road noise out.

I was on a business trip visiting the Boeing facility next to Long Beach Airport. This hotel was minutes away and close to everything I needed (but that is partly due to being in LA). The room was very clean and the breakfasts prepared by the Panorama restaurant were delicious. The only downside was that you can hear the airplanes, but what do you expect being next to the airport?
Overall, I slept well and enjoyed my stay. I am a Platinum member and believe that a hotel room is primarily for resting. I don't see a need to spend an excessive amount for a room to sleep in and Holiday Inn seems to strike a good balance between quality and economy. I don't see myself changing hotel chains any time soon.

When we first entered the room, it had a decidely musty smell, ugh! I sprayed fabreeze around to overcome this. I noticed this every single time we entered the room, and had to repeatedly spray.
Also, women like brighter lights, especially when we are applying makeup. I know you try to save money and guests can be extremely wasteful, but for the price we paid, we should have been able to at least put on our makeup without having to resort to going outside to check it out in mirrors we had brought. Brighter lights over the sink please!

My wife and I did a 15 day Hawaiian cruise, and chose the Holiday Inn for its Park Stay and Go package. Everything was flawless. Close to a great choice of local restaurants. Excellent comfortable room and free Internet. Great breakfast off the menu included. Shuttle to and from the cruise terminal. Secure parking for our vehicle.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Craigmac Fast check-in & comfortable beds
FREE parking was great. Check-in was very fast. They accommodated a high floor request which gave a great airport view. The room was average size and quality. The bedding was very comfortable. FREE wi-fi was nice, but slow. The balcony was small but it was nice to be able to open the sliding glass door. The bar was on the top floor of the tower and provided an excellent view; however the drinks were expensive (almost $10 per drink).Overall it is a nice hotel with good service and amenities.

It was my pleasure to stay at this hotel recently. I liked the location and I was very impressed by the staff. Service was gladly and professionally provided, right down to the housekeeping and maintenance staff. I highly recommend this hotel.
Make sure to include breakfast in your reservation, you'll like the view from the restaurant windows as the sun comes up. The menu is quite complete and you should be able to find something you like.
The only improvement recommendation I can think to make is to suggest that the hotel seriously consider replacing the glass sliding windows that are in every room in the tower. These windows let in a lot of noise from the street and nearby 405 freeway, to the point that the first night I had some trouble sleeping. I solved this by use of a set of earplugs but the better solution is to replace the slding windows with double or even triple pane windows that keep out the noise.

The bathroom is so poorly designed that it is hard to shut the door to use the toilet. More importantly, all bathroom lights go on so you can't just turn on what you need if up in the middle of the night. Then, the bright lights reflect from the mirror onto the person who is trying to . HOW ABOUT A BATHROOM NIGHT LIGHT.
