Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely Room but Poor Dinner service Booked room with the Dinner and breakfast supplement but was very disappointed with the dinner service. It took over an hour before the starter arrived and my partner was surprised when her Soup starter course did not even come with bread. The dinner is advertised as a 3-course dinner but try ordering 3 courses from the menu provided and you immediately go over "budget". 03 March 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Musical Rooms I've been staying in this hotel on and off since September 2014 and the experience is getting worse. They are fortunate to have a captive market for the area as there are simply not enough rooms/hotels in the area if you want to be close to your place of business. This visit started with a 3 night stay and being put in room 132. This room suffers from being next to noisy pipes which make sleep impossible and it's the second time I've stayed in this room which has failed to have hot water the next morning. I was told during my last visit 2 weeks earlier that one of the 2 boilers has broken down.......it looks like it hasn't been fixed yet. I asked to be moved the next morning and told reception my case was packed and there were 2 shirts in the wardrobe. It was confirmed they'd be moved to the new room. I was given a room change for my next night, room 148 and all seemed well when I moved in apart from my belongings not being in the room. Off back to reception to ask for a card key to the old room to which the response was 'oh it's your things which are still in the room, we checked someone into there'. I popped up to collect my belongings. As for room 148, all was revealed when I tried to sleep as it sounded like there was a helipad above the room. At 11.45pm I called reception to be moved to be told the hotel was full and the noise was due to the kitchen fans. They said the auto switch of had broke and they'd turn them off manually. They finally stopped at 12.30 and I did get some sleep until the helicopters (sorry, fans) started again early the next morning. I challenge anyone to sleep in this room. On the 3rd night of my stay I was finally moved to room 232, quiet and pretty comfortable and a full nights sleep was had. The only complaint I have with the room are the cobwebs are still on the ceiling from a stay in the same room a few weeks ago. I'll probably be returning to this hotel, mainly out of necessity. I just wish the management would recognise it's desperate for investment and improvement. 02 March 2015
