Great location...but the property is tired. This was my 2nd stay; the views are amazing...but the service is not. I asked for iced coffee at breakfast and was told "no." At dinner, I ordered (and was charged for) sparkling mineral water, which never was delivered. I was in Tahiti for work; on Friday night I ordered salad & pizza because I did not have 3 hours to watch the dinner show. I had to remind the waitress 3 times - and my pizza took over 70 minutes to arrive at my table! I did not receive any "nights" credit for my 5 night stay - despite booking here on this website. On my last day, I tried to book a tour of the island; because I was traveling alone (for work) the rep told me I would need to pay for 2 seats on the tour van. I declined and rented a car instead. I will stay at Le M on my next work trip to Tahiti. This location does -not- meet the minimum standards of InterContinental.

Had a wonderful time, the beds could be better with a box spring or better mattress. Room was wonderful. Food prices were high but think it is overall there. Staff was wonderful in hotel and restaurant as well as the front desk. Only real issue was at the French restaurant. We tried to walk in one afternoon to make a reservation and no one would even talk to us but they did talk to the local people. The person who was the rudest was also our waiter the next night. What a night mare. We did a wonderful email from the hotel restaurant about this issue and that they had discussed this with the managers. It was good to know that they did follow up on the problem as this is now our dream place to go. thank you for a wonderful time.

The person at the concierge desk "saved" our vacation. We had an emergent situation when we learned the Moorea ferries only ran twice a day on Sunday. He helped us get tickets, get our luggage together, catch a taxi, and get on the ferry all within about 25 minutes of our learning the schedule. Not only that, he had a taxi waiting for us in Moorea to take us to our cruise ship that was leaving Moorea that day.
This young man went far beyond even excellent service and he is to be commended. The hotel itself is lovely, but the service makes it stand out from many others!

The hotel is very nice, but only because don't have competition.
The service is fine, but the staff is really poor.
