Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 397 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Meets and exceeds expectations Recommended to me to be the best place to stay in New Orleans, and it is, in my opinion. I stayed at the InterContinental New Orleans in January during a convention and I found it to have outstanding amenities, very comfortable accomodations (rooms are huge), excellent location and friendly, professional service. Will definitely return whenever my travels include New Orleans. 26 January 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average Stay...I expected more. The room was average as far as cleanliness. The neighbors had extremely loud children. The other neighbor and had pressure/balance problems that sounded like a freight train in the walls. I used my vehicle only once while there and it took 30 minutes for the valet to bring it because phone operator forgot the ticket number. Awakened at 2am by really loud drunks outside. Ate at one of the restaurants for breakfast. Not impressed, wait staff was unprofessional and by the time we received our food it was cold. Room service was awesome. Most (98%) of the staff was very professional and helpful. 22 January 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Much room for improvement I stay at IC New Orleans 3 weeks a month. I understand that the hotel is going through a remodel, but I also know that should not affect the customer service level. After the remodel, the building may live up to the IC standard, but the service level has a long way to go. 20 January 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort The room was way too cold, even with the heat turned up as much as possible. One morning, it took 10 minutes to get hot shower water Food in the Pete's restuarant among the worst anywhere - pizza was terrible 18 January 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful, welcoming staff and perfect location! After considering 4 other hotels in the same vicinity we decided on the InterContinental. Despite rattling shower pipes that sounded like jack hammer drilling when anyone in your room line turned their shower on and beds slightly soft and less supportive and high off the floor, we would probably stay at the hotel again if the pipe situation were resolved. Why?, you ask; Because the location can't be beat and the staff is super friendly and accommodating! And although the street car line runs right in front of the hotel during all hours of the day and night, it's a sound of the city you adjust to. Since it's right outside the hotel's front door, go ahead and hop on the street car and enjoy a wonderful ride to the other side - - and to all the other fabulous locations in between - - of this very fun and exciting city! 13 January 2015
