I would like to remark about a specific staff member. Her name is Kendall. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay comfortable. Please be sure she is commended in some way for her special service. Our stay was excellent at this Staybridge suite. I will return many times over the years.

Arrived for a visit with my son and his family. Front desk very friendly. Allowed us an early check in so we could get settled. Had a wonderful weekend with my grandchildren! Breakfast large variety, fresh, and hot. Courtyard great place to get some fresh air. Beds are firm, but not to hard. Also, a variety of pillow choices. The property was spotless. The best part of our stay was how friendly and helpful the staff was.

I have been a regular frequent visitor for Staybridge indifferent cities. Most of the places I stayed welcomed my return visit.
This particular place in Kalamazoo obviously did not care and I felt like I am asking a favor of staying. My request to change room floor was reluctantly done. On my first request, I was told no rooms were available. On my second question on when it will be available, it suddenly became available. The staff girl was very rude and even did not want to talk much, not even explanation I almost felt insulted.
Very unpleasant, out of proportion to the facility. If I need to see that kind of person again, I do not want to come back. Maybe whoever staff from Staybridge reading this would not care either.

We found this Staybridge Suites very clean and quiet (although we requested a room on the 3rd floor specifically to decrease the potential noise (ie kids running around the halls etc)). The pool was clean and warm . . . . towels were stocked. The breakfast was good (eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, fruit, yogurt, etc) . . . . however, the woman that was working at the breakfast on both mornings was a BEAR!! So, BEWARE of the employee at breakfast . . . but don't let her deter you from staying here . . . we would reserve a room here again in a heartbeat!!

Every time I come up to Western Michigan U to interview students for new jobs I stay at your hotel. The person who checks me in is always so accomodating, always freindly and often attempting to provide me a room on the floor I prefer or an upgrade and that makes me feel very welcome. The staff there in the morning providing breakfast are also so freindly and outgoing. The people here are either really well trained or they simply have the right spirit of hospitality naturally.
I do like the rooms and the beds and new pillows are terrific to sleep on. But it's the hospitality that yoiu show that makes the difference to me.

We spent 2 months at this site. The 2 bedroom suite was a great value and felt like home. It had more space then any other extended stay we have seen. The breakfast and dinner service is very convenient. The staff are very friendly. The room quality is good, not great. The main problem with the hotel is the cleaning staff are very nice but the rooms are very poorly kept. Service entails changing towels and making bed only. Would recommend the site for long stays because of the space, value, and food service but otherwise would stay somewhere else.

WOW!
I cannot express how impressed my husband and I were when we walked into Staybridge. The front desk staff was so warm, happy and welcoming!
Even more impressive was the room! I assumed we were walking into a standard one bed room. Nope. This was like walking into our own little apartment! Full kitchen, louging area with a tv, a desk to work at then the kicker... the bed in a separate room! Love it! The bedroom was very spacious with another nice big tv.
This hotel blows away any other hotel we have ever stayed in. It's extremely clean, very comfortable and the value is remarkable!
I look forward to staying again and have already recommended this hotel to my family & friends!

My son goes to Western University and we have stayed at this location may times over the last couple years. It is always clean and the staff is always helpful and friendly. We typically stay in the 2 bed, 1 bedroom suite with the pullout sofa. It sleeps up to 6. It's a decent size and has a t.v. in each room. They have a pretty good breakfast which usually includes fresh fruit, hot items like sausage and/or bacon, oatmeal and of course a waffle maker for fresh waffles. Since I am visiting my college son, he misses home cooking and I always utilize the kitchenettes. The only drawback is there isn't a stove. The kitchens are stocked with the basic essentials. I have requested additional pans in the past and the hotel is always accomodating. The pool and hot tub are in a separate buiding centrally located and are always clean. The hotel also wraps around an enclosed outdoor area with tables, chairs and gas grills. The hotel also hosts a managers reception M-F which serves pretty good evening meals. There are also a couple of computers available along with a printer, free of charge. This is a great place to stay and usually reasonably priced for all the amenities available.
