Our stay was very quick. We got in at 12am and left at 9 am. The room was nice, however there were stains on my pillowcase. As well as there was hair in our sink. Wasn’t a bad stay just wish they focused more on cleanliness. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Avid - Macon Vacation

A few years ago my family booked a stay at the Avid Hotel in Macon, GA and I really enjoyed the experience then. This is my second time here and it was, again, a very enjoyable experience. For now, this will be my preferred hotel whenever I come to Macon to visit. Besides it's convenient location, the service and staff have been really good. Their breakfast is simple, but filling and fresh. During my particular weekend stay (which wasn't around a holiday or know major event) I never had an issue with elevator 'traffic' or waiting for space on the elevator. Overall, my stay was comfortable and relaxing

I love this hotel it was new looking well maintained I loved the color in the room the room was a little bit smaller than holiday inn but it was plenty big for my needs the price was fantastic for the amenities the staff were so friendly I would highly recommend staying here when in area

Bloodstains on the duvet covers in two rooms. Hair all over the bathroom, crumbs on the floor, sticky, dried up liquid under the refrigerator. Second room felt damp and humid and when I left my clothes I wore and stuff in my bag had a stagnant, musty smell. I didn’t get to use the pool but it looked nice. The breakfast was decent. Oatmeal, veggie omelet, cold cereal, juices, milk, coffee, tea, toast, bagels, oranges, nutri grain bars. The lobby looks nice and the area felt safe. They did offer a late check out.d

We drove through the night and stopped here at 2am. We walked in and the room smelled awful. Smelled like old mop water and mildew. Alarm clock went off at 5am. Staff member walked in our room at 9am. Bugs on towels

I had never heard of your hotel. I must say I was delighted to find your staff so helpful and friendly. The breakfast food was great. Most of the time you get Continental breakfast. I highly recommended the hotel.

Very clean but with a few inconveniences

This is a comfortable hotel with amazing bed and linens. I was very disappointed to not be able to stream Netflix or Amazon. I called the tech support number and the Indian rep was of no assistance. I wasted a couple hours trying to get this to stream. Why offer the service on the tv if you can’t stream anything? It was very frustrating. Also the lotion and hair conditioner bottles were empty. The hotel was clean and staff very welcoming but these inconveniences shouldn’t happen when paying for a hotel stay.

My wife and I had to stop on our way for a long trip. We had our dog and this was great place to be able to get the rest we needed and get breakfast the next morning to continue our journey. The staff were helpful and professional. I would go again because the experience was so pleasant.

For the price this hotel did the job. It had nice amenities, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I’m sure it is a big job, but the cleaning process could use some attention. It was not filthy by any means, but if they spent a few extra time cleaning i would give this hotel a 5.
